If that mod also changes the GCGAMEPLAYGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN file, then the two mods are incompatible and you'd need to use AMUMSS and the LUA file for both (if there's a LUA file for that mod) to load both mods at the same time.
Lua support is currently broken at the moment, is it not? Although the new files only include the changes made to the game file now which is handy. Theoretically can't we just merge the mods ourselves manually by including all the changes made to that specific global file by different mods all into one mod?

I'm not sure the status of AMUMSS at this point, I never used it. Not sure if the LUA files will work once it is updated. I do know that using two mods that change the same file now works, you just drop both into your mods folder and the game reads both and makes changes as needed. I'm currently running my scanning mod and a fast smelter mod and didn't have to make any changes to either for them both to work.
As for changing the time before scan value, I've never changed that previously, it's always been 0.5, feel free to experiment as you like though.
This is great! I am curious, and I guess this is in part a mod request (apologies if this isn't the right forum for it), if there is a way to use our analysis visor from our ships. Is that something that would be moddable?
That kind of mod might not be possible with the current modding tools, but I have no idea really, the scanner mod is really a couple lines edited in a text file, and that's about the level of my expertise on it.
Hi! I downloaded the latest version 5.05 and while my game doesn't crash upon launch, the mod appears to not be working. I also can't access GCGAMEPLAYGLOBALS amongst some other MBIN files, maybe that's why?
