I am a fool. I did not realize the reskins are a separate PAK.

The reason why doors by default don't open automatically is beyond me.

As of Mac update this seems broken to me. Tested as only mod running. When mod is activated door stays open with glitchy, stuttering animation.

I've updated the mod. See if it works properly now.

Do you plan on updating the Reskins add-on at all? Rather than changing the appearance of the door effects, it makes the effects disappear completely. Which tbh, I still prefer to vanilla LOL but I was wondering if there would be a compatibility update for it, since it hasn't been touched in a couple of years.

I'll take a look when I get time. As you mentioned, I haven't touched them in a couple of years, so I need to dig into it again. I had no idea they weren't working anymore.

The animations seem to be broken / walk right through door as of last patch. Nothing I do works (same on experimental). Wiring them doesn't work.

This is a game changer, and saver.

I built a small "city" that's walled in with alloy power doors for entering/exiting. Little did I know, if you manually pick base/mid/top instead of the one that changes on it's own, they don't work. I spent over an hour trying to figure out why my doors wouldn't close when they had power going to them.

Your garage door mod completely fixes that, and as an added bonus, I don't NEED to wire them at all!

Great Job! I got this mod for the Close Range Proximity Doors. The default proximity sensor range is too large. In the circular prefab you have to be at the edge of the room for the door to close. Now the doors open when you are next to them and stay closed until you are right in front of them. This mod works fine in VR. I was concerned that being so close I might get some clipping but to my surprise there was no clipping.

How would this work in a multiplayer game? They won't see the glow color variations which makes sense since they don't have the mod, but how would mechanical animations like door closing work in a multiplayer game?

Unfortunately, it doesn't work in multiplayer, so if you leave the doors unpowered, they will just stay open for other players.

I don't mind wiring up the doors, but I suspect the door without the mod will open at the proximity sensor's default range.

Correct, for them it will trigger at normal range.
