I don't know if it's just me, but until the previous version it worked without problem, after the last Interceptor patch the camera went back to how it was in vanilla (I downloaded the new version of the mod as usual after a patch), I don't know which one can be the problem :/
nope, I always check that, since it's the first step to use mods, the bad thing about it not working is that the mod is so good that I already had it normalized, now it's impossible for me to use the vanilla camera :(
Did something happen with the camera after the last patch? I tried driving an exocraft and the angle of camera was moving with the vehicle in a new way that made it very weird. At first I thought it is an issue with the mod, but is that normal now or can it be changed back?
Nothing changed in the mod and I haven't heard anyone talking about this in vanilla either. I don't doubt that you're experiencing something new, but I don't know what it could be. I'll keep an eye out, though, for anything that might be applicable.
Besides maybe a video to describe it visually, I would say the camera follows the direction of the vehicle, not all the way, but enough to shake the camera a good amount (as we can see how much the vehicles get shaken on planets). I think I have camera shake disabled so I will try to see if that option does not work right. Sorry for bringing up the subject here.
PS: It seems to be gone, seems that one of the small patches got rid of it.
Is there a way to disable the weird camera / character movement the game does when you are close to a object that the character walks past / over (if you know what I mean)?
The Games Camera and / or Character tend to move with the Terrain if you say have a bump or a incline. It's weird to describe. You might be walking straight on seemingly flat ground but a little bump in the ground will make your camera move by itself towards the left or the right side since the game aknowledges said bump as incline and the character will walk "past" it.
https://youtu.be/rVCxsz3A1-Q <- I Uploaded a Short Clip of the Behaviour I mentioned. I really don't know how to describe it well but it feels like the Crosshair, and by Connection Camera are connected to the Character Movement instead of it being the other way around. I've yet to find a mod that fixes this and I don't know nearly enough about No Mans Sky modding to find out if it even is fixable. Chances are it isn't.
What exactly does turbo mean in the file? It's not explained anywhere. Also would it be possible to have the off center camera a bit higher above the player. I feel like running down hills causes a lot of obstruction in the foreground.
Turbo means the build cam and photo cam move much faster than the normal version. Unfortunately, I don't have time to build a custom camera set right now, but you can edit the Lua to customize it to your liking.
You have to do it manually. Go to your MODS folder and delete the files you don't want, leaving only one file there. Installing with Vortex doesn't work very well for some NMS mods. Most modders just recommend doing it manually.

Should I put lua file in MODS?
Woo, I haven't played NMS in soooo loooong, lol! But gonna check out OMEGA and see what's up, hehe. My most fav camera mod! ♥

I see mentions of picking the files you want, but when I installed through Vortex it installed the whole thing.
