    Hi everyone, 
    I'll be taking over the maintenance of Methatronc mods to keep them up to date.

    This is a visual mod this does not require frequent update like other mods.
    So if the mod breaks let it be know in the comments and I will update it.


    Feedback is welcome, if you have any idea's or questions feel free to ask.
    If you encounter any bugs please let me know.

    Mods folder has changed, all mods should now go in: ...\No Man's Sky\GAMEDATA\MODS

    Hi, I can't get this one to work, any version. I put the mod in the MODS folder as usual, but nothing happens. Help please.

      Yes, I understand, but I can't get it to work. The binoculars is still vanilla.

    Will this be updated for Worlds II  5.5x ?
    Love this MOD, that default purple filter of the scanner is pretty annoying.

    Does not seem to work for world update.  Everything is still grey scale.

    is there a way to get rid of the super bright flash when triggering the scanner?

    its so bright its like a camera flash in my face every time I start the scanner

    Just an FYI, for people using AMUMSS to create your own PAK file.

    You need to take the TEXTURE folder, from inside the MEFTI folder in the zip file, and put it in the MODSCRIPT\GlobalMEFTI folder.

    DO NOT drag the entire MEFTI folder from the zip into the GlobalMEFTI folder, because the path will be one too deep, just take the TEXTURES folder and put it in the GlobalMEFTI folder in the AMUMSS folder

    Thx for update, do you know if its possible to add compass to binocs, im playing with no hud.

    Since the Interceptor update, this mod appears to be causing a weird issue where the screen will start filling with black pixellation until the entire screen is blacked out. 

    It's not an outright crash.  The game still runs and you can interact with objects, you just can't see anything.  Once it happens, the only way to restore the visuals is to exit to desktop and restart.

    As best I can tell, the pixellation seems to start when entering a system where one or more of the planets has the new corrupted sentinel stuff on it (i.e. purple, etc.).  It happens when leaving the local space station, the Anomoly, and freighter.

      The old one yes as it didnt do what it was supposed to do, the new one should be more up work as intended unless i messed up the texture files again

      No worries, however, there is no LUA provided in the new files, unless it is inside the PAK?

      Oh, yeah you can find it in the pka, seems i forgot to add the lua. Will add it soon thx for mentioning. Probably didnt add it as visual mods barely need any updates
