Why would OP update this? The walkers are officially part of the game now.

Because this mod makes it WAY more interesting by spawning those huge walkers in dead planets , and you see a different variety of sentinels not only when you get wanted level, which instantly disappears once you run away...so you never really have the chance to see all the cool looking sentinels...It would be a huge addition to the game if you actually seen these giant walkers just walking around on dead planets or other types of planets.

No, the company that made the game does not have to buy content made for their game. That's not how that works by any means. As the original creators, Hello Games holds the power over the product. A mod is a fan-made extension of the product, and therefore not protected. In fact, Hello Games could shut this mod down if they wanted to.

The Sentinel Walkers already exist in NMS you just need to get Tier 4 Sentinel Alert status and they will appear I've done it mulitple times and died to them.

    Js tho good attempt

this guy made a mod that adds snakes without replacing/removing other creatures, could you talk to him and make a version of your Walkers mod that does the same so we can fix the scanning issue???
    Love your mod!

Hi! Yeah I gave Pame a few tips for this.

They unfortunately still have scanning issues though.

I can confirm that the current version messes up species discoveries. I had a planet with 1 species of 10 left to discover. When I installed the mod, suddenly the planet had 5 species total, with 2 left to discover. Uninstalling the mod fixed the issue. Hopefully this can be fixed in the long run, because I really want those walkers to be around.

      Hi Seisca,

This is listed on my issues section - I'm currently fixing this now.

This mod is amazing on planets with hostile Sentinels. It makes it a different game. I do hope you're able to fix the issue with them being able to be scanned. Thanks again for all you're doing.

like many have said, whats the point of this? i have being attacked by both two legged walkers and four legged ones (Specially in resourceful planets) ... so... care to explain what this does exactly? i only see it causes glitches with the discovery of planets fauna.

it spawns walkers where there arent any. im currently in a system where the sentinel level is "relaxed", so adding this mod gives a bit more challenge.

I've seen the small 4-legged walkers, but they've only spawned when I take Gravitino balls from a planet.
I'm guessing this mod makes them and the 2-legged walkers have a chance of spawning without such action

the walkers are there regardless. they just dont spawn until you reach a level 4 threat. the best way ive found for spawning them all is to go to a ruin, shoot a sentinel so they are alerted. hop ontop of the ruin so the floating ones cant reach you (they will normally be stuck under the ruins catwalk scanning you). then make sure you leave 1 of the floating bastards alive so it can scan you. you may need to go to the ground for a moment after killing the 4 leg sentinel, then run back up the ruin. 99 times out of 100 you will then get level 4 threat level and encounter the giant walker. kill that, you hit level 5. then the moment you hit space, you go down to level 1 space threat level and have to kill a sentinel ship. level 2 you get 2 sentinel ships and so on. hit threat level 5 in space and chances are you gonna die. 5 ships plus a BIG FUCKING SENTINEL FREIGHTER spawns to f*#@ your s#*! up. barely made it back down to the planet to get away when i encountered it. then once you land back on the planet your threat level goes away and you can start ALL over again.

Don't understand the point of this mod. These are already in the game. I've run across and been shot at by both types of these "walkers"
