Any idea why this mod changes the color and configuration of naturally occurring exotics in T2 and T3? Some of these naturally occurring configs are very rare, but wont spawn in the naturally occurring config with this mod on. BTW, great work on the mod!
I noticed it perhaps replaces some spaceships, so maybe it uses the "Replaced Index configuration Spaceship", to generate the new Exotic? It's just a guess, because while hunting for Ships at No Man's Sky Coordinates Exchange, my desired ship never showed up, and it was suposed to be easy, since it was a Fighter Class.
I really like the mod, but I noticed it replaces some natural occuring ships, and at some point, Exotic Ships are over repetitive (not many variation). On the other hand, the Living Ships are still super interesting and have plenty to look for.
Could you make a version of this mod with only Living Ships (no Exotics)? It would be lovely.
I am planning on getting this mod and was wondering what are the difference between those "Royals" and "Squids" ships ? Just so I know what I am stepping into.
From what I know, the primary difference is that the Squid ships do not vary in visual attributes other than color, while the Royal ships vary in wing size, wing shape, overall ship color and trimming color. When it comes to stats, I'm pretty sure they're nearly identical across the board.
The default is 1 as 1% for all. It goes like this : 5% chance to spawn an exotic ship in poor & average system/galaxy and 10% in a wealthy/rich one (as in the description) instead of 1% in any case. Then for the second option it's 10% and 15% chance and for the third option 20% & 25% chance to spawn one.
@Leo_Hu/hzlleo You've packed/repacked your "_Leo.HigherExoticShipRate.10-15.pak" with "_Leo.HigherExoticShipRate.5-10.pak" and the GCSOLARGENERATIONGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN, and for the "_Leo.HigherExoticShipRate.20-25.pak" you've repacked it with "_Leo.HigherExoticShipRate.10-15.pak" on top of the other two. "_Leo.HigherExoticShipRate.5-10.pak" is fine though, just so you know.
1. navigate to %YourGameDir%\GAMEDATA\PCBANKS\ 2. Delete DISABLEMODS.txt, if file not exist, proceed to step 3 3. Put the file into mods folder, if folder doesn't exist, create it 4. start the game and enjoy
Very nice mod, happy to see that it only spawns the system exotic unlike other mods here on the nexus which generate fake exotics that are not possible for a system to spawn.
Have just confirmed that this mod is replacing Squid ships with Royals, tested this in systems with first wave squid spawns which have all been replaced with royals.
Reconfirmed again in systems without first spawn Squids, any system that would spawn a squid will spawn a royal when using this mod.
