About this mod

This mod overhauls the jetpack, makes it more viable, and enjoyable to use. Original by ATaXiA, updated by chembros (Leven), updated by foxmlg (Zotikus) since the Beyond update.

Permissions and credits
This is based on ATaXiA's Jetpack Overhaul, credit to him for the original tweaks.

Note: You may need to remove rocket boots for this mod to work smoothly.


USE ONLY ONE VERSION

VERSION 1: (Recommended)
  • Increased force and speed, no longer feels like you weigh 8 tons when trying to fly
  • Increased fill rate
  • Increased tank times, scales with Jetpack tech
  • Increased brake for better air control
  • Shortened ignition for better responsiveness

VERSION 2: (A bit too strong)
  • Increased force and speed, no longer feels like you weigh 8 tons when trying to fly
  • Increased fill rate (2x)
  • Increased tank times, scales with Jetpack tech (2x)
  • Increased brake for better air control
  • Shortened ignition for better responsiveness

VERSION 3: (Way too strong)
  • Increased force and speed, no longer feels like you weigh 8 tons when trying to fly (1.8x)
  • Increased fill rate (2x)
  • Increased tank times, scales with Jetpack tech (2x)
  • Increased brake for better air control
  • Shortened ignition for better responsiveness (1.1x)

Compatibility:
This mod will conflict with other mods modifying GCPLAYERGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN
- A .lua script is also provided to merge this mod with any other AMUMSS script modifying the same file.
