Update: Well it works now for some odd reason. I think the game was just having a moment. If that ever happens again, I may just quit the game and reboot the PC. Sometimes that helps when I have issues with the game acting weird. Thanks for checking on it for me on your end.
Seem like the Cursed event has broken this mod again. It is causing engines on spacecraft to appear burning and not lift off. Shield needs repaired is the warning from cockpit AI.
Does this also increase the fuel that they use to jump or rather, scale it with the new distances, so that you need to add more fuel to your ship to reach those distances? That would be nice to have with it. If it can jump 10 times further, it should hold 10 times more fuel so that it can burn the same amount of fuel it would have for that original distance.
Well, yes and no. Yes for realism and no because the goal of the mod is to bring back interest in using freighters to jumpdrive as for the same effort, you can go 10x further than in ship, rather than using the ship for everything as actualy, there's no point in using freighters for anything but as a mobile base you can call in any system.
It works fine here. Be sure to read the installation notes and check if you missed something. Else it could be a conflict with another mod editing the same file.
