Is this mod worth using with Black Space? The previews all are showing the color space fog on top of planets, but I'm wondering if this mod would practically be invisible if we are using your Black Space mod with it.
Yes, and I also double checked that I didn't accidentally put the .lua file in my MODS folder instead of the .pak. I still can't get it to work though; the planets look clear without the "space fog". The only other mods I'm using are other mods of yours and arghwater, so nothing that should conflict.
well, - Arghwater is still working with Interceptor and does not conflict with this mod. - Integrated Planet edits a specific file that none of my other mods could conflict with. - I just checked ingame and the mod is still working for me. So I don't know. Maybe you have some mod from another modder that conflicts with Integrated Planet (you can use check_conflict file from AMUMSS for example to check).
I tried having only this mod in the MODS folder and, just in case, verified the game's files (and made sure to delete the disablemods.txt file again) but to no avail. It just refuses to work.
Yes, I've been using mods for a long time now. It's a standard procedure, that's why I'm so baffled myself too.
I don't know. Does the effect activate on all systems or some of them? I've tried jumping around. Maybe you've made it less intense? My game doesn't look like the screenshots; I'm looking at the bright side of planets and it's just crystal clear.
If it ends up being something stupid that's at fault... 😂
Hmm, the effect is mostly visible when looking at the dark side of the planets (possibly with asteroids in between), that's where the space fog gives its tint. if asteroids are foggy and not the planet, as on the 2 yellow screenshots above, then the mod is not working.
So I have a question: Could you make it affect planet rings as well? Especially when it comes to being on the surface of a planet, as rings appear to overlay on top of the sky when rendered and it looks weird.
I also was wondering if you could change ring shadows so that they're always on. Planets with rings cast shadow on their rings from a distance, but the shadow on the ring disappears when you're nearby, and I always hated that.
Rings are not easy to handle. I fixed shadows in the past when shaders could be edited but I'm not sure we can do it anymore. I will check a new attempt and check if I can get any result.
The file modified by this mod was not edited in Outlaws update and I just checked, the mod still works for me, so your issue might come from something else

Did you remove/rename the DISABLEMODS.txt file in your PCBANKS folder ?
