Any chance you can take over maintenance of this mod, as degraaaff doesn't seem to be active anymore and I saw at least one other mod you've taken over from them, so you seem to be in contact? I guess I have to find out how to compile mods now, never tried before, but I really wanna try this one. Though I am not even sure whether it's working in VR.
That AMUMSS stuff was easier than expected, working great in PCVR and love the landings even if they take a bit more time now, thanks again! I wish it would also be applied to NPC ship landings or work on landing pads.
Hey man, this mod has erroneous script. There's an accidental SHIFTING OF VALUES. All values in a major section starting 1217 - 1309 are shifted UP ONE.
This wildly affects MiniWarp, combat lasers/projectiles, collisions, takeoff/landing, loot collection distance and more. Might want to do a compare with vanilla to see it.
I can confirm that this mod is broken in its current state. Pulse engines function strangely and it is impossible to land on another freighter. These problems persist when I have only this mod activated and the rest shut down, so it is not a mod conflict.
Really happy to see this mod updated again! The only thing I am finding is that the landing height might need an adjustment since Hello Games has refactored terrain gen - watching my ship land it appears to deploy landing gear on the slightly too late side, drop down and then slightly clip into the ground before rising up again and 'landing'.
So far I've only tried it with a Solar and a Living ship (because that's what I normally play with.) I can try it with different ships if you would like?
Help! My game (GoG v3.91) AppHang-crashes whenever I try to take off with my ship, it'll launch, go straight up to the point where it should start flying forwards, and just crashes then and there. Disabling better landings, everything's fine - so I'm pretty sure it's this mod. Anyone else having the same issue?
I'm new to NMS mods. Could you point me in the right direction on learning how to merge mods together? I'm wanting to use this mod but I am also using Dazaster's Ship Flight for Prisms but because they both edit the same files, I can only use one of them.
I'm getting a super non-descript "Potential mod incompatibility detected" error after the PRISMS update, and I've narrowed it down to this mod. Not sure what's going on, programming is not my forté. Anyone have any insight? I really like this mod, and I'd rather not go without it.
