I'm sorry, I've never encountered that with ReShade before. I would guess that something messed up during the installation process so the only thing I can recommend really is to uninstall it through the ReShade exe and then reinstall it.
The MagicHDR shader can sometimes do that depending on hardware or even the game, which is a pain. Definitely make sure you are using the most recent version of ReShade, and also make sure the in game brightness is set to the default setting.
If that doesn't fix the problem, you can try using another ReShade I made for Elden Ring that is similar but doesn't use the MagicHDR shader so it doesn't have that issue with things being wayyyy too dark on some hardware.
Edit: UPDATED version 1.3 because of a small error (was so subtle I didn't even notice it in all the testing I did before uploading 1.3 so that's my bad) I found it while redoing my Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro HDR mods with the new shader setup. HDR effect is unchanged I just fixed the error by rearranging the shader order.
I think I'm just gonna work on making color correction LUT images from now on. Trying to correct any problems with any of these HDR shaders is too much of a headache. So I will not be updating this file anymore but I will most likely post a Nioh 2 LUT for ReShade sometime soon.
Edit: Gave up on LUTs for now. They are nice for making some cool effects but I could never get something I was really happy with overall. So I've been working a little on tweaking this HDR preset again and trying out other combinations of shaders to potentially get a better effect. Will post an update if I find anything that works well.
Do you mean the map menu with the missions? I don't think so. I think it's just a result of the HDR shader making bright areas REALLY bright and the map is definitely on the brighter side. The only things I could think of that might help would be to increase the Global Contrast under the Curves section in the Lightroom shader, or to lower the Global Gamma also in the Curves section of the Lightroom shader. Both will probably make the overall image too dark though. But there might be some other alternative. If I find a fix I'll update the file though!
Edit: Working on combining a different set of shaders for the color correction instead of Lightroom to see if I can fix this issue. Will update if I find anything that works well.
Edit: I've uploaded a new version using 2 different shaders instead of Lightroom and moved the order of the shaders around a bit. I think it's fixed the issue as best as I can get it. Hope that helps!
