FYI. Been working on something similar, but far more in depth (and harder) for Dark Souls 3. The goal is to completely change the color grading of the game to basically recolor the entire world. Since the game is basically gray and brown AF, it's a really long and tedius process, though I'm having a lot of fun doing it. It also isn't near dark enough in many areas, making torches and other lighting items or spells useless. Even the tone of the game, which is so gritty and evil is somewhat betrayed by the insane amount of bright, ambiently lit areas in the game. Here's some preview comparisons of my progress on this Dark Souls 3 project. Click the links and it'll take you to comparison shots:

If you use DLSS or reduced resolution quality, then you have to modify the final step of the install instructions or your skills screens and map screens will be messed up.
With DLSS Quality Mode enabled, you no longer want to select the reshade depth buffer that would be in your native aspect ratio, since DLSS is lowering your aspect ratio. Instead, you'll want to select the aspect ratio that DLSS is downscaling your game to, which is probably some random aspect ratio, you'll have to guess, but it should probably be something in between 2k and 4k resolution or maybe a little below 2k resolution, impossible for me to know.
I run the game in native 2k, so instead of the depth buffer resolution I want to select being my usual 2560 x 1440, I need to select 1707 x 960. Your resolution will be different, I'm sure, as would someone having this same issue running the game in 1080p, or standard HD.
So here's the fix for the messed up skills and map screens:
1. Once in game and not in the skills menu, still make sure "Copy Depth Buffer Before Clear Operations" is selected, and then There will probably two entries for the new DLSS resolution that you are able to select. You may have to scroll down pass dozens of CLEAR options under your usual resolution to see the new lower DLSS resolutions.
2. One of these DLSS resolutions will likely have thousands or millions of entries next to "vertices" [on the right of the menu] and the number will fluctuate wildly each millisecond, the other DLSS resolution will likely have a single digit number next to "vertices" and activity may not fluctuate.
3. Select the one with the high number of entries next to vertices.
4. Also select "CLEAR 1" under that resolution option, so both boxes should be checked:
Here's what will be happening on the back end if you select the wrong DLSS resolution with low vertices next to it:

Hi, Thank you for this reshade. Somehow I've done everything step by step 2 times and my game still looks scuffed for some reason:
https://imgur.com/q46xgVM
(I disabled the border because I don't really like it, but with the border on still happens) As you can see for example the edges are very blurry.
I'll provide as much information as I can (Some might be useless but I just don't know what's causing this)
1- Yes , I have CLEAR 2 enabled (Tried others and still the same result) 2- I've installed the reshade version you provided 3- I had to change the dxgi file to d3d11 otherwise my game was crashing on launch. 4- I play in 1920x1080 fullscreen 5- My monitor is 144hz 6- This happens with all the presets although I want to use the main one 7- I installed the latest version of reshade and had to uninstall so then I installed the version you provided, may be this caused some sort of problem? The first time this happened I uninstalled and installed with the version you provided but still looks like the image 8- I dont have DLSS
i don't have dlss enabled, i play on 1920x1080, i don't use any mod (haven't even installed the mod enabler), I followed all instructions and my game looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/ZuSayvc Please help!! edit: nvm apologize for being dumb i should have read the description carefully! The mod worked well i got no issues.
Hey, don't know if you're still around but how do you rebind keys outside of the ingame menu, on newer versions of reshade you can do it in reshade.ini but with 4.9.1 this doesn't seem to work. My keyboard doesn't have a numpad or a home key so I can't even get into the settings to change them.
edit: nvm i'm stupid, you can infact change it in reshade.ini
Hi, did you install ReShade 4.9.1 framework I linked or did you install the newer version of ReShade from Reshade.me? If the later, please uninstall ReShade and install the older version linked in the install section of my mod page.
I had thought I followed every step correctly, however the game crashes as soon as it attempts to reach the main menu. Ive followed the crashing tips, and they unfortunately didnt fix the issue for me. I am seeing that I dont have a preset .ini file that I can load while going through the Reshade steps.
What am I missing? Id love to use your mod. Reshade loads successfully, just crashes before the game cant start. Thank you for your help and support!
What OS and reshade version do you have? I used reshade 5.2.1 on Win 10 and it worked fine, but after upgrading to Win 11 this week it crashed on start up after KOEI logo despite trying all suggestions for crashes. Today I decided to install reshade 4.9.1 and it no longer crashes. Hope this helps.

edit: nvm apologize for being dumb i should have read the description carefully! The mod worked well i got no issues.
Now, will it look good with a game it wasn't made for? Complete tossup. Only way to know is to try it.
The thing that will probably work the least well is depth-based effects, particularly depth-of-field.
If you end up trying it, lemme know how it goes.
Cheers. Good luck!
mods i'm using are male 4k textures, female body tweaks, female armor tweaks, hair n30 band removed, sayahamaru fixes, and graphic tweaks v10
I followed all instructions to the T and my game looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/yMruPYu
Ironically if i deactivate "Use aspect ratio heuristics" all that weird stuff disappears.
any ideas?
edit: seems like if I use CLEAR 3 instead of 2 the issue goes away. i'll check ingame to see I have any issues, but seems things meanwhile are solved
Cheers!
