Description:
Remember the Demon Slayer Waistguard from DLC2? Just another waist armor I thought. But it turns out, it's one of the few waist armor pieces that has somewhat tight pants. Only thing is, they're beneath all that dangly stuff, forever out of reach. Or are they?
Turns out they're not, so I've gone ahead and removed all the plates, strips, flaps and dangly bits. I left the two tiny hip plates tho, 'cause I like 'em. I've also smoothed out the puffy parts and tightened the pants a little around the hips and ... interesting areas.
Since the plates are gone, the sash was kind of overbearing in presence, so I scaled it down and moved it down as far as possible without exposing the void beneath the character's waistline and creating a clipping nightmare. Also colored it black, because why not. Oh and it's female only right now. Maybe I'll do a male version if there is overwhelming demand for it.
If you find any weird stuff it's likely because I'm pretty new to Blender and basically just went with my gut on everything. Don't look too close, you've been warned.
If you don't like the new sash color, first off: there's no accounting for taste, second: open "DSWNoPlates.ini" and either delete everything below ";Retexture the sash" or put a ; in front of every line. Don't come to me if you deleted everything and can't get it back tho! Just download the main file again. Also I tried to retexture the front and back parts of the pants to get rid of those "folds" or whatever that is, but couldn't get it to work. Sorry.
Installation:
1. Download and install "Nioh 2 Mod Enabler" (https://www.nexusmods.com/nioh2/mods/18).
2. Extract the archive of this mod.
3. Put the included folder into your "Mods" folder in Nioh 2 main directory.
4. Hit F10 in game to reload your mods.
5. Profit.
Uninstallation:
1. Remove this mod's folder from your "Mods" folder.
2. Hit F10 in game to reload your mods.
3. Profit?
