What this game really desperately needs in my opinion is a way to increase draw distance. Pop-in in this game is pretty bad. Shadows especially can be distracting with their detail switching.
Devs made it better for the PS5 rerelease then never brought those upgrades to PC. f*#@ them for that. But yeah, would be cool to see a modder pull a Bethesda and fix the game for them lol
not sure why but i have the patcher in the same folder as the nioh2 exe but everytime i try to run it it just says failed to load nioh2 exe even when ran as administrator. any way to fix this?
First off, patcher has been designed for Steam copy only. Epic or pirated will produce an error where it says 'failed to unpack'. Try to verify file integrity in Steam and run the patcher again.
Wow looks very interesting nioh has needed something to fix its absurd performance issues for a while now, hope this will fix it, even if its not its intended purpose
basically after a steam update a couple years ago that messed up a lot of games, Nioh 2 got hit too. before that my game ran smooth 120 fps at max graphics, now it stutters constantly at medium-low when there are a lot of effects or entities in one area (even after various pc resets to make sure I don't have anything on my pc that might cause performance issues). I had emailed team ninja about 6 months after the problem appeared because I noticed I wasn't the only one with the same issue. there were tons of reports on steam and reddit about that. wanna know how they replied? in short: "game too old, we have other projects we have to work on", fine. but then don't say "by the creators of Nioh 2" as a marketing strategy when introducing newer games if you left it in the dumpster R4inXIII
