[Update] : Version 1.1 - Added shader harsh for user who selected 'Non Motion Blur' setting for their graphic settting. So now regardless of setting motion blur on or off, things should work ...
So no matter what I do, the cape is still there. I even downloaded another mod which makes additional changes to armor, all those additional changes are applied, but even that mod can't remove the cape. Any idea why?
I'm trying to recolor the tiddy wrappings with Photoshop + NVIDIA Texture Tools, but no matter what format I save it in the colors of the whole outfit piece get washed out. Other outfits work fine. Any ideas? Or am I really just forced to do it with pain.net?
Seems like the Nvidia plugin just doesn't work for this game or something. I changed to Intel's plugin and it works as it should. Thanks for the tip and the mod!
On my end the cape and chest were separate models on a refashioned item. Motionblur = On Game settings set to Highest
2b4f1e31175e9cbc = chest 0824de6b20f64856 = cape
So I ended up adding this to the ini. [ShaderOverrideN2_FerrymanRemoveCape_Refashion] hash = 0824de6b20f64856 run = CommandListN2General allow_duplicate_hash = overrule
Yap, this shader injection is not perfect since the hash may be different from some pple. In general, if it doesn't work, try to fix it yourself by locating the shader/texture hash ...
Why do I have to download an entirely new program I've never heard of just to make the default colors come back? Like, I don't even know what the exact shade the default color is, can you not just also upload an optional version for people who don't want pink?
Edit: AND IT'S A PAID PROGRAM? Why do I have to spend money on this?
Why exactly should I know about paint.net? There is no reason for an upgraded replacement for mspaint to have ever entered my awareness. This still doesn't solve the issue of me not knowing the original color code of the wrappings.
This is a problem created by the author of this mod. He has to have had to have this file in the default color at one point, he didn't have the one copy of this game in existence that just so happened to have pink underwear. He colored it pink and then deleted the default version of it instead of just having it up as an optional download because... no reason, I guess. This is a decision that required more work to do than not to do, I literally cannot fathom how he came to the decision to do this.
did the new patch break this? or is it just me? it seems the new patch broke all the removal mods that don't have the .fmt .ib & .vb files or at least thats what i saw
edit: wait, no nevermind got it to work now idk what i did but it works now hmm
All the mods are using "shader injection". As such, if the shader changes for whatever reason, the mod will not work since it is referencing another shader's hash. I have written an article showing how to locate the shader hash if u wanna try it out ...

Just figured I'd let you and/or others know.
