March 12. After few days of testing, some people point out that they can only export .jpg file not .dds. There are some possible solutions to you guys who are in trouble. But It might not fix your problem. Since I am a new beginner here, I cannot address all problems. If you know what could be done to fix it, please help us by posting.
1: Opening scene might lose character model, you should get to somewhere your character shows up and nothing will interrupt. Like gear setup. 2: Someone said you need to use this mod at least once, then you can export your character layer normally. I don't know if it is true, so try it. 3: You can find another mod which also uses body layer and open its .ini file. The pixel shader ( in .ini is hash value) will tell you what to change 4: You didn't enable mod or reset mod. Try F2 or F10 few times and before you press F8, your mod should be enable. 5: A tester told me that hash 7e552b939a41a99a will work. I don't have time to test it. You can try it.
3:For example [ShaderOverride1] hash = 1c66ca69cf2a610c
you find a new hash 123456 then [ShaderOverride1] hash = 123456

If you want to change this mod to fit your skin color, first, put all mods in your mods folder to somewhere else mods folder on my PC: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Nioh2\Mods
then create a new folder. In this new folder, create a 1.ini file. to create a 1.ini file : right click and create a txt and rename it to 1.ini
inside of 1.ini put
[ShaderOverride1] hash = 1c66ca69cf2a610c ;run = CommandListN2General run = CommandListN2Dump
then save and close it.
Open Nioh 2 reset all mod by pressing F10 at the beginning if you clean your mods folder, no mods gonna work right now. if any error or warning shows, please clean your mods folder. A folder contains 1.ini should be the only one in your mods folder.
In the game, press Numpad 0 to enter hunting mod then press F8, your custom skin color should be saved as a dds file in this folder: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Nioh2\FrameAnalysisDeduped Mine is "8d4e2435-B8G8R8A8_UNORM_SRGB.dds" This one is a layer of your custom skin layer.
To replace it, you need a editing software. I use paint.net
Open "8d4e2435-B8G8R8A8_UNORM_SRGB.dds"and "LaceStockings.pdn" (or other stocking you use) "LaceStockings.pdn" can be found in the mod folder: E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Nioh2\Mods\LaceStockings
ctrl + c in "8d4e2435-B8G8R8A8_UNORM_SRGB.dds" then paste on "LaceStockings.pdn" "LaceStockings.pdn" has three layers you should only paste it on a layer named "R226,G179,B148" if you have done this all correct, you will see the background has changed to your custom skin color. Then use save as function. Save as a dds. file and do not change the name. The final saving file should be "LaceStockings.dds" its dds file not pdn anymore
You might notice that there is another file has the same name. You should replace it with your new edited "LaceStockings.dds"
I add following lines into FishnetStockings.ini. It keeps the mod working when using sneak thief scrolls. Try this if you the have same requirement.[ShaderOverrideFishnetStockingsThief] hash = 64c84227cd17bb71 run = CommandListN2General allow_duplicate_hash= overrule
The hash is actually different when "sneak thief is applied". Same issue occurs in some mods.Please tell me if there is any related discussion or any place I can find/share information about this.
it is a nice mod! though i tried to add the mod to mods folder , it did not work. the sailor uniform mod did work. and they can not work together.QAQ(not a english speaker)
Still no response to this. I know the remove chestwrap mod is something most seem to use but I really don't want to. (The guide that's stickied also has flaws and I don't have issues with using one of the pre-set skin tones added with the download. For example it's referring to pressing F8. The mod loader doesn't even have a function for F8 so... that's confusing.)
