   I think it would be really cool to play as Maria, except as the version of her in the red and black kimono. would this be possible as a mod?

      Not currently. I already tried to replace her boots with the barefoot model from her boss fight but couldn't get it to fit right due to some model weight issues. It seems to be technically possible though since i saw a video on billibilli where someone apparently did get it right, but he didn't post the mod files for whatever reason.

      It appears to be possible with this mod - https://mod.3dmgame.com/mod/149023. However, it actually replaces the in-game models instead of using shaders, so the change is permanent.
      The installation instruction is in Chinese.

   great mod! is it possible to replace sarutobi sasuke's model from nioh 1 with that of ren hayabusa from nioh 2?
