Oh man, I am glad someone is still modding Nioh 1 after all these years. I always wanted to play as a DOA girl in Nioh, but judging by what you said in another comment, I imagine it'll be way harder to do an era appropriate costume if it was already hard to put her body suit in in the game. Also, I hate to drop a request on you, but If you don't mind, could you perhaps see if it's possible to remove Ginchiyo's cape? Or the bottom of Okatsu's blue kimono?
I could have made a different costume for Kasumi, like her battlesuit 2 that is more era appropriate for example. Anything is possible if a model exist. I went for her classic battlesuit to begin. Perhaps i'll do more if my mod gets more popular and more people ask for more. I don't think Nioh 1 is still played much unfortunately. Now for you request, it's actually really easy to do. I'll try to guide you how to proceed: First install the Nioh2 mod enabler in Nioh game directory. Next in "Mods" folder, make a new folder. Name it whatever you like. Inside your new folder, right click and make a new text file. Name it whatever you want, then change the extension .txt with .ini Now launch your game, go find the model you want to modify (in the teahouse transform menu). Press your numpad 0, you'll see some green numbers. Next press numpad 4 or 5 and you'll see parts of the model turning invisible as you keep pressing these numpads. When you found what you want to remove, let your game running and open your .ini file. Copy this inside :
[ShaderOverrideModel] hash = run = CommandListN2General
Go back in your game and press numpad 6 to copy the invisible model part ID. After the "hash =" in your .ini file press ctrl + v to paste the ID. Save the file on the top corner left. You must now copy these lines below the previous ones in the .ini file:
[TextureOverridePart] hash = handling = skip
Go back to your game and press numpad + to reset the model visible/invisible parts. Now press numpad 7 or 8 to find again what you want to remove. If you don't find it again with numpads 7 or 8 then try numpads / or * When you found the parts to remove, press numpad 9 or press numpad - if you found the part with numpads / or * In your .ini file after the "hash =" press ctrl + v to paste the copied ID. Save your .ini file. Finally, in your game press numpad + then 0 to leave the hunting IDs mode. Press F10 to refresh the mod enabler so it will load your own modifications. Congrats you made your first mod!
Thank you very much for creating the mod for NIOH1. I really like the 99, back attack, and powerful magic in NIOH1. However, NIOH1 has never had as many mods as NIOH2. Thank you so much!!!
Thanks. From me? Unlikely. I've got several character models from DOA5:LR i would have brought to Nioh aswell but i underestimated the amount of work necessary for Kasumi alone.
