So,I just created a detailed tutorial video on how to install a Reshade. I`ve done this, since many of my downloaders dont know how to do so. I experienced that media is easier to consume than reading an instruction,so I thought I might share this video on different Reshades. Maybe you (the Mod creator) wants to pin it or add it to video section, for easier access :) If you dont like the video, feel free to delete this post :)
hey im really confused, do i install reshade official as well or do i only get this? and if i use this with special k should i install it where i would install reshade with special k? im also kind of confused about using reshade with special k in general
I've used SweetFx and Reshade for years and years and made some really really nice and unique ones actually not seen elsewhere for other games, but now when I used yours I have duplicates of some in the settings window (never seen that) and the order is off by 2-3 only, game looks too orange and whatnot and I have no idea how to rearrange the shaders (or remove the duplicates) if I view your .ini I don't see much that seems worth editing, no arranging at least. Any help on this?
Edit: Nevermind, I'll just do my own shit... So tired of nothing ever working ever ever ever eve everee..er,.e,ee,vr.v.r.............. 2b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b2...........
this is because I don't use reshade-shaders inside my reshade.ini I have EffectSearchPaths=.\Shaders,.\Shaders\qUINT,.\Shaders\PD80,.\Shaders\Depth3D,.\Shaders\AstrayFX,.\Shaders\OtisFX,.\Shaders\Daodan,.\Shaders\Fubax,.\Shaders\CorgiFX TextureSearchPaths=.\Textures
this means reshade search's the NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 folder for a folder called Textures and a folder called Shaders instead of a folder called reshade-shaders.
hope this helps. also I dont recommend pasting over my files with custom textures/shaders.
The game looks waaaaay better with this reshade. I just had to reduce the Bloom a lot and adjust Unsharp a bit, but this is kind of a personal preference. Thanks a lot.
Ok, first of all I have to say, I don't know why, but some of the effects in the description (fxaa, delc, pd80_bonus_pack) doesn't show up in my reshade settings, so it could be, that like you said the reshade looks not like intended. But it looks great nevertheless, so I didn't figure out why the effects are missing.
But if you want to try it (really just some small changes): I reduced the Blur Scale down to 0.330 in the unsharp settings and in the neobloom settings I reduced the intensity to 0.3 (former 1) and the saturation down to 0.6

sorry for the duplicate files and late response.
Thanks a lot.
send me your unsharp settings I'd love to test them
