For those wondering, yes, I am still working on this mod. Several trips and then catching Covid derailed me for quite a while, I can't believe 2 months have passed since the last release, and I must beg your forgiveness for that lol. I'm currently planning on releasing everything at once when I've finished adding all the songs, rather than the nonstop incremental releases like I had been doing, especially since I had to go back and re-convert every single song because I realized I had completely messed them up previously. I'm probably not going to do much bug testing prior to that release, so expect it to have issues, but that'll be later me's problem to deal with.
It's been like 6 months since your last update/message... i seeeeriously hope this project isnt dead. I really need that temple of the drifting sand original track and stuff like Grandma, Repose etc added in this remaster. Im literally JUST waiting for your mod to be done before i buy this game...

Take your time, no rush at all, but I really do hope you can still work on this mod. A lot of people would be forever grateful for your work, to give them the ultimate version of this game that SE never did for some reason.
I'm so, so excited to see someone making this. Thank you for your work! And for helping keep the scene alive; maybe one day we'll get a true fan-made Gestalt 1.2 experience!
One thing I've found from youtube is that almost all of Replicant's OST misses the mark by just one instrument layer, so I'm curious if we could get a version that tries that? Like, replacing the drum layers of Replicant tracks that have them creates the best of both worlds. Shadowlord having a first phase without the violin layer also sounds cool enough that I can get past the new vocals' tone and slightly weaker drums, but I know the OG vocal layers are separate and mixable, maybe the drums are too?
Not all heroes wear capes. I dropped the remake despite waiting 10 years for it because of 2 things. The lifeless new face models and, most importantly, the new OST. Okabe is the man but the new OST ain't it. Bless the Shadowlord someone took up this mantle
