ummm, is that mean game will not load file from .ARC file? i dont have space in my storage so can i just delete .ARC file after unpacking with emil.exe?
I can't get Emil.exe to work, I keep entering "emil.exe -i "E:/Games/Steam/steamapps/common/NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139/data" -o "E:/Games/Steam/steamapps/common/NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139/Modding Tools/Extracted"" into command prompt, it keeps telling me Kaine version 0.0.2 Emil version 1.0.2 and my extracted folder remains empty Edit: used emil.exe -i "E:/Games/Steam/steamapps/common/NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139" and it works
This mod seems to have broken something for me. There are moments where the subtitles just would not load which would have been fine had it not hardlocked the game. When I looked at one of the offending lines talk_all and compared it to the unmodded version, I could not see anything that could have possibly been wrong with it.
Step 1: Use command prompt (you might be able to use a shortcut, I haven't checked) ?1.1: If you don't have Emil.exe installed on the C: drive, navigate to the drive it is installed on by entering your drive letter and colon (ex. E:) Step 2: Navigate to the directory/folder you have Emil.exe installed with the cd command (ex: cd Games\Steam\steamapps\common\NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139\Modding Tools) Step 3: Enter emil.exe -i "Path/To/Game/Directory" -o "Path/To/Output/Folder". ?The tutorial on the description page tells you to use emil.exe -i "Path/To/Game/Data/Directory" -o "Path/To/Output/Folder", but that is wrong and will be a roadblock if you keep following that instruction. ?Also notice that I'm using backwards slashes rather than forward slashes on -i and -o, that is an important step and will not work if you use forward slashes. ?Also, the -o "Path/To/Output/Folder" is completely optional and the output folder will be exactly where it will need to be for the game to read it. (note: It will not be in the game directory, it will be in the common folder, not the game directory). Only use -o if you need to unpack somewhere else for some reason ?(ex:
