Did anyone find a workaround for kaine being level1? I would really like to get my second playthrough with her going (I know aboud the door bugs) but its impossible with level 1 :D
Workaround for playing as Kaine: Download the old executable from here (replace the existing one in the game root folder) then download version 1.2 (found in the old files section) of papa nier launcher then download this mod version 1.0.0 (found in the old files). Start the game using papa nier launcher and select adult protagonist option then launch the gadget and swap to Kaine. You will probably have to start a new game as Kaine will be level 1 until you actually level her up by killing enemies. Next time when you load your save switching to Kaine will keep her level and items you have picked up. Note that you will get stuck when entering the village, junk heap or lost shrine so switch back to the protagonist model when doing so.
Is it possible to get all the words with this? If not, have you got any idea if there is anyone working on something to increase words drop rate or something? Some words drop rates are ridiculous... I remember farming them in the original game, don't wanna suffer again.
for some reason using the program makes my CPU go to 100% and fans ramp up as well... The same happened to me in Automata. The only way to stop it is closing the game
It should be fine for you. It could be Windows Defender (or any other antivirus) thinking that ReplicantGadget could be a threat as it reads / writes memory from a separate process. Take a look at your task manager when you open the gadget, you should be able to see what is causing it.
Thanks for the workaround. Playing as Kaine is awesome (her move set is really cool) but buggy as hell. It seems she can't get into all the indoor environments, you just get stuck whenever trying to walk inside any house. At this stage, Kaine looks just for fun unless someone finds a workaround to get through it.
For village, junk heap, and lost shrine, Kaine will get stuck if you don't switch back to Nier first by saving and loading. I have fought all bosses except the shipyard boss with her.
i know its a stupid question ..but.. how it works ? need it in the game directory ? first start game then " this" or ...u understand where the problem is for me?
only see Hooked:yes but level:8862 and some other weird things something doesnt work exactly .. maybe some instruction when it works and when not ? after start and it changed from hooked:no to hooked:yes i need reload the savegame ? questions about questions because no single instruction how itr works or when...
Mine is having exactly the same problem lol. “health” and "gold" are showing the process id, and "level" is just process id + 1. I am running the CODEX version though, maybe pirated copies have different memory offsets than the official steam version.
But that shouldn't be the case because the trainer for nier replicant is working properly. So I don't know.
Maybe the Denuvo removal broke something or it's probably just a problem with my pirated copy, but I'm having the same problem as the user Shayuna below. Although the program says it's hooked, the "health", "level", and "gold" fields all show the process id instead of the real values, and all other fields are either blank or 0. Model switching also isn't working as well. Would you please take a look at this problem? Thanks in advance!

i start gadget - then nier - load my savegame and in the gadget nothing changed only hooked from no to yes thats all

my gold 87000 / gadget 3284
when i click to store ( position ) nothing happens
when i want a item to remove or adding nothing happens \_o_/ so nothing solved for me
