At the time of making this there were 2 problems whiched stopped development. 1 3Dmigoto was very difficult to replace every texture LOD, so texture changes would not appear in cinematics. 2 Specialk at the time would require the "Reload all injected textures" button every time you move between areas.
Hey, i made a small edits on the textures to do a few personal recolors and thing is that it works for kaine in the cinematics of the game but nier is still the same. Any advice? I would really love to see Adult Nier wearing black in the cinematics
I noticed a few time, recently, that Kaine wasn't always changed in certain circumstances, with this mod, but she was always changed when I changed her textures with special k.
I'm off tomorrow, so I guess I can update this mod to use special k. So people don't have to dig through the special k ui to find textures.
I can't say for sure using special k instead will fix those particular cinematics, but I will look into it. Thanks for the comment! Tho if they are prerendered there is no hope.
I'm getting throught the game and so far the mod works well. I changed Kaine's lingenire to black and so far everything works in game and cinematics, the only problem has been adult nier who's textures revert back to normal in cutscenes but stay black in game.
Thanks for being kind and checking, i can safely say that the cinemas are not prerendered since Kaine's clothes change colors, i have special k as well but no idea how to extract textures. Still thanks for checking it up again and have a nice day :)
Sorry it's taking a little longer to get out an update than I was expecting. Based on your findings, I believe the next update should fix the adult nier issue in cutscenes.

Hi! I'm having the same problem about retexturing adult Nier, i.e. the mod doesn't show in cutscenes. I think he has a different set of texture for those, maybe an hd one being the main character. Any news about it?
I just made my first retexture for adult Nier and am facing the same problem. Can't find anything on the modding discord about it. Has this still not been figured out?

Yes I dumped my textures with Specialk, but that was a number of years ago, things might have changed.
It looks like DevolasRevenge has made some Specialk texture mods recently. I would recommend looking at those mod descriptions and post sections. Yes you can dump textures with 3Dmigoto, but I would recommend using the latest Special K from the Special K discord. Special K is really easy to dump/inject and you don't have to manually look up hash values like you do in 3Dmigoto.

Thanks for the save file solidsnake8608! Looks like it gave me a bunch of achievements thought, this is my own undoing. I'm going to close my eyes and re-buy Nier Replicant again.
