      Yeeeep. Happy christmas btw.

However, on github the author says something about compatibility for 2017 and 2021 update of nier, be sure to check out how to install special k properly https://github.com/Kaldaien/FAR

I can't seem to get these textures to show up. I'm using FAR, and the .dds files are on placed in NieRAutomata/FAR_res/inject/textures. I'm not using the Automata Texture Pack, but I am using the Android's Remastered textures for 9S and A2, which are working fine from the same directory. Same with other FAR texture mods for 2B. Any ideas?

Well I have FAR installed but I have no idea where to go to find the textures or where to add them in the folder. If someone could help it would be much appreciated.

Search for Far_res under your nier automata installation path, and put the files inside the last folder you get by opening Far_res (it shall be "textures")

@Frogger1207 How you create the folder? I have the files in this form:

      NieRAutomata\far_res\inject\textures

But the mod is not working

You have far installed, right? You shall place those files in /textures

Yes, I have Far installed. The unique folder with the name textures is in NieRAutomata\ReShade\Textures, not the path you provide and is no working.

Mmmmh you use reshade, I don't know how to help you, try performing a texture dump from far to Seee where the dump is located, change the dump name to inject and use it as the folder for modified textures

You solved that? If yes, could you explain how you managed to solve it? I'd add how to do it in the file description

I think I figured it out. At least for me.

If you have FAR installed then drop the files in
      "NieRAutomata\FAR_Res\inject\textures"

If you have the NieR Automata Texture Pack installed (which btw you should) then the path is
"NieRAutomata\FAR_Res\inject\textures\NieRAutomata.exe\GPUnity's Texture Pack V0.75\2B" (Overwrite files when asked. Make a backup first of course.)

Yep, that might work, if you have any other texture pack installed you have to replace the texture pack outfit with my retexture outfit, they have the same name, so you shouldn't happen to have two outfits in the same texture folder

UPDATE: Replacing the files in the 2B folder located in FAR_Res\inject\textures\NieRAutomata.exe\GPUnity's Texture Pack V0.75 does not do the trick. You have to actually delete the 2B folder in there. Be sure to keep a backup of the original folder of course. After deleting the 2B folder, you should be able to place this mods files in FAR_Res\inject\textures and have them work fine.

ORIGINAL POST: Tried extracting directly into the Far_res folder, as well as the 2B folder in GPUnity's Texture Pack, and either way, the only thing that changes are her gloves; they turn white with the feathers turning blue. Everything else is the base outfit. Do you need to change the name to anything different if you have the DLC?

Would it be possible to reverse or change the blue color to a red for a white/red Christmas theme outfit?

I know im late to the party, but I installed FAR as directed from the SKIM64.exe launch file, it placed a bunch of files in my SteamLibrary > Steamapps > common > NieRAutomata but there is no file or folder called Far_res, the only texture file is empty in a zipped FAR package inside a "Reshade" folder which is under the "Version" folder, am I missing a step somewhere?

Hey you miss the folder Far_res, I put the skim64.exe in NierAutomata and run the install.

i know its really late now, but the solution for me was to just create the "FAR_Res" folder myself as well as the "inject" and "textures" folders.
