I think they somewhat rebrand from "qUINT" to "iMMERSE" also in files and its messed up and full of chaos requiring a lot of manual corrections in your preset, some effects from their package are interesting and I'll play around with them myself, but in reality I'll mainly stick to the clean reshade preset because it does the most work im looking for for little cost where theirs effects take my gpu from ~60% to 99% easly.
but thanks for the info that there is a group that does such effects, a bit of searching and it can be "found"
I can't find any of those here and I see your video I did everything right but I can't find these shaders ReShade 5.4.0 even I paid for Pascal Patreon - quint_rtgi 0.33 or newer - qUINT_motionvectors - qUINT_regrade - quINT_solaris - qUINT_physical_dof_MKII there would be no way to put them in a separate folder and upload on the internet
My LoD Mod Settings: LODMultiplier = 0 AOMultiplierWidth = 1.25 (or 1) AOMultiplierHeight = 1.25 (or 1) ShadowResolution = 8192 (or 16384) (Stage 1/2 AO always active, increased Stage 3 AO) (Stage 3 increased basically means the AO "shadow" that starts to show when gettings near to a Building for example) (Stage 1/2 always active basically means that even far away Objects always have AO active, this is not usually the case) ShadowDistanceMinimum = 100 ShadowDistanceMultiplier = 4 (Sharp Shadows) ShadowFilterStrengthBias = -3 ; set t ShadowFilterStrengthMinimum = 1 ShadowFilterStrengthMaximum = 0 (Shadow Geometry) (Shadow "Shape" is now more true to Object, see Shadows cast by Buildings for example) ShadowModelHQ = true ShadowModelForceAll = true
This is the best i could come up with after trying stuff for several hours.
As makaragamz said updating ReShade to the latest version doesn't work now, so I used 5.1 and it worked so keep that in mind, besides that everything is working and looking amazing, so thanks for the effort
Thank you very much this guide! I hope I can get some help here. I followed all your guide till point 9. "Updating "old" ReShade", when I replace the old reshade folder with the new one from reshade.me, it doesn't want to load at all in the game, all of the important files are on their right spot:
It seems the method i used isn't working any more. It's been a while since i made this Preset and updated my NAHM installation so i don't even know which version of ReShade it uses at this point or where it stores its various Files. I advice you try reading NAHMs documentation if you want to update its ReShade. Theres probably a really easy method detailed in there. Otherwise just use the ReShade it comes with and then put my 5 Presets and my ReShade.ini in there. If you are missing Effects simply put them in reshade-shaders. My Download contain all Effects i used. I've also re writen my "Guide" just a few days ago so maybe re read the section on updating.
Thank you for your help! I was able to make it work by finding an official 5.1 version of reshade (latest one is 5.2)! and instead of looking for a "modules" folder, I just used the "ReShade" folder that namh creates.
My last problem doesn't seem to concern anything about your guide, I'm getting a compilation error for AtmosphericDensity.fx and I don't even know where to start troubleshooting, I copied all shaders and textures from GShade to my ReShade reshade-shaders folder .
A red compilation error? There's a post on here basically saying you have to get the whole GShade Shaders from the GitHub to make it work.
Truth be told, the first time i saw the Effect used was when i got it from this Genshin ReShade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KS1Rxf-qmEM https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aZ9zk9u3VJ4zMaWdyhM6PcYH27jqNEkm/view
Just try and take the "Include" Folder and AtmosphericDensity.fx thats in there and copy it into your reshade-shaders. You also need some textures iirc but ReShade will tell you. Make sure there is a EffectSearchPath configured for the "Include" Folder in your ReShade.ini or set it Ingame with the ReShade Console Settings Tab.
You are one hell of a good person, thank you very much, I was able to finish the guide from start to finish with this few changes in the method and files.
In short, this is how my installation differsfrom your guide, so if others have problems, they can try this. - In my case I didn't have a "modules" folder, but instead a plain "ReShade" folder installed by Namh in /NieRAutomata/ReShade - I had to look specifically for a ReShade 5.1 installation file, which is not really difficult to find. - Used your gshade files https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aZ9zk9u3VJ4zMaWdyhM6PcYH27jqNEkm/view
With all of this, no errors arised, no effects duplication, everything runs nice and smooth... well not nice and smooth as I'm using the psycho preset hahaha, I still didn't finish the guide tho, just wanted to say thank you! I'm at the very end and I just have to play a little bit with ReShade!
When I am Extracting the Reshade to Namh/modules folder I am not seeing that folder is there something I missed? I really want to try out this mod. Any help would be great thanks. and thanks for making this mod.
You have the NAHM Mod installed but don't have the NAHM/Modules/ReShade Folder? Install the Game, Install the NAHM Mod. Then use Windows Search to find the "modules" Folder If you install on desktop it should be C:\Users\XXX\NAMH\Modules Now delete the ReShade Folder from C:\Users\XXX\NAMH\Modules and replace it with the ReShade Folder from my download.

just paste it in that folder?

go to

and search for rtgi

Thanks, for the feedback. This helps me and other people!
I just updated the "Guide" accordingly.
My namh reshade folder: \NieRAutomata\ReShade
reshade-shaders
dxgi.dll
ReShade.ini
ReShade.txt
ReShade_setup.exe
ReShade32.dll
ReShade32.json
ReShade64.dll
ReShade64.json
But still, reshade won't load, this of course doesn't happen with namh's reshade. After loading my reshade backup it works again.
Once again, thank you for your work and help.

Install the Game, Install the NAHM Mod.
Then use Windows Search to find the "modules" Folder
If you install on desktop it should be C:\Users\XXX\NAMH\Modules
Now delete the ReShade Folder from C:\Users\XXX\NAMH\Modules and replace it with the ReShade Folder from my download.
Thanks for the help.
