This offshore research facility provides all necessary player home utilities such as the workbench, the reloading bench, a cooking station, an Auto-Doc, a laboratory set and an automated repairbench. There are a total of 4 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms with 2 beds, and 1 with a single bed. All providing the well rested bonus. There's ample storage throughout the station, and the possibility to travel to the Mojave or Big Mountain.
To gain access to the facility, one has to complete a relatively simple quest. It's just that you need to have completed 'That Lucky Old Sun', 'Crazy, Crazy, Crazy' and the entirety of 'Old World Blues'. The quest can be started at the place to teleport to Platform Point, which is a tiny shack between the 188 Trading Post and the El Dorado Substation.
