It might be some other mod, maybe my save is bugged and some script of some other long gone mod is still running around, tormenting me like the third ghost in a Christmas Carol, and it may be that I'm going crazy trying to diagnose issues and trying to make 400 mods play nice with each other, but do NPCs sometimes just shoot nothing with invisible weapons (kinda like pretending I've got a gun in my hands style), for anybody else?
Also, is this mod script reliant in any way? I swear that I do not have this mod installed anymore, but I can still see NPCs still using stimpacks all the same
Edit: It's actually waaaaay weirder than I thought, it seems that occasionally NPCs randomly drop their weapon, and after the fact they act like two separate entities, with the NPC pulling the trigger and the gun magically shooting wirelessly on the ground half a mile away, I've never seen anything like this ever happening in New Vegas, I'm frankly stunned how weird the gamebryo engine can act when pushed to its limits.
I believe it's stewietweaks that allows you to revive downed companions at the cost of a stimpak without using the JIP menu, would it be possible to get this anim to activate then too?
Prob yeah. I'll look into it when I can. How do companions stay down though? Is that a non hardcore thing? They just die on hard core lol. Also how does tweak work, is there dialogue menu or hotkey or something?
For tweaks it's just a normal prompt when they go unconscious, instead of talk it says revive and uses a stimpak when you press it. My settings may be borked because my companions still don't get up until after combat ends tho lol
Also, I was wondering. Is it possible to recreate the entire FO4 companion command system in this game? You know like how you can just press E on companions however far they are and tell them to do things with the cursor
