This mod isn't playing nice with Sweet Perk Overhaul, when you unlock 100 containers it gives you the infiltrator perk automatically but the message box and unlocking happen at the same time and the game borks itself into softlocking :I
this mod seems to be broken in my experience. when i do manage to set all the tumblers in place and it unlocks, the safe remains locked, as if i didnt just unlock the lock.
Are you using any mods that could be interacting with lockpicking any way? Also enter this in the console and lmk what it returns. GetGS "fLockSkillBase"
This is an awesome mod, as usual with your work :)
Would you consider adding settings to make it so the Oblivion Locks can appear randomly in conjuction with the vanilla lockpicking? Another option could be to let them appear only for a specific lock difficulty (Average, Hard etc.)
Is it possible to change the lockpicking keybindings? I can do things fine with normal lockpicking, but the keyboard layout as-is feels wrong to use for this mod for whatever reason, so I'd like to change it.
The timing for the pins seem to be about the same. Any setting recommended to fix that? I've tried tweaking the settings but didn't really change much unless this is incompatible with a mod.
The raise time? Or how long they stay at the top? These are the settings to change if you want to adjust the pin behavior.
; How long the tumbler stays in the peak position in relation to its raise time. ; Increasing/Decreasing this value is the easiest way to affect lockpicking difficulty. fPeakTimeMul=0.75
; Used to calculated the randomness of the tumbler raise times. fMinRaiseTimeSkillLow=0.05 fMinRaiseTimeSkillHigh=0.05 fMaxRaiseTimeSkillLow=0.15 fMaxRaiseTimeSkillHigh=0.30
So I decided to install this mod, and lost interest after trying out the new lockpicking in the game as it wasn't really for me. I decided to uninstall it and after doing so, I opened up the main game(Via Script Extender as always) and it just crashes to desktop. This isn't after I load a save, this is right after I start the game up. I decided to reinstall the mod to see if the problem would persist, and I was able to load in everything just fine after that. So yeah, I'm pretty stumped on this... If I uninstall the mod again, the problem would definitely persist.
I've noticed that if you hold down W instead of pressing it, the pin stays up (jumping up and down a bit) and it's easier to open the lock. Is this on purpose or a bug?
