SUPPORT IS BEST HANDLED VIA DISCORD - link on the mod page.
Non-live troubleshooting sucks for all parties involved. Do yourself and me a favor, and either hit my discord or the NVR discord for technical issues.
Selecting the Editors Choice option at the first step in the FOMOD will install H2O as I personally use it. This may be too performance heavy for many PCs.
Deselecting it will allow you to choose from different quality tiers, and disable cinema and DoF effects.
If you are using Editors Choice and/or left those effects enabled, your Vanity Mode key (the one that switches between 1st/3rd person, and you hold to spin the camera around your character) will add a DoF effect for screenshots.
The best way to make use of this will be to first hold Q (or whatever vanity mode/camera switch is bound to). While holding the key, open the console with ~. Then use tfc 1(toggle freecam and freeze time) in the console, along withtm to remove the UI, then close the console and take screenshots with your preferred application (I personally recommend Gamebar as it is the most compatible). The DoF is auto-focus, and you can open the NVR menu to make adjustments to the DoF shader while in freecam/time stop.
Reopen the console and retype the same commands to revert to normal gameplay.
I know it is incompatible with High Resolution Bloom NVSE, but is it also incompatible with the nvr bloom option? I like to enable the bloom option and find that sometimes the graphic has become totally black, although i have disabled the High Resolution Bloom NVSE mod.
I already did, (so do I get two nickles?) the problem is, though, if I re-read this right, I'd have to install one of your custom menus or a compatible mod's menu replacers in order to have a functional menu? That's of course doable, but I was hoping there was a way I could manually tweak this mod to use this with other menu replacers or the vanilla menu as, I'm not going to lie, it's kind of unnecessary that this NVR preset mod has such a requirement/feature with the game's menu screen (therefore I thought the mod was bugged at first). Is there actually no way to disable this mod's overrides to the menu?
Don't know why but even though the wetworld option are true both in Cartographer and NVR , every time i enter the game it's still showed as false, even i change it to true in game by using NVR menu it just keep false next time after exit, I am using latest version of both NVR and H2O.
As great as this looks my laptop (i7-11800H / RTX 3070) just struggles in some spots even on the performance setting from the installer. Is there anything less hardware intensive like a ReShade preset you recommend? Or a way to make NVR work at lower performance?
This looks absolutely lovely! Have my modlist fully set up now, from your guide as well as others, and as much as I'd like to use NVR and your preset, I think that I'll need to wait for a better computer to fully get the intended look of things here lol. Thank you for all the hard work you've put into this! And as I'm not using NVR at the moment, I was thinking of going with Reshade as something more performance friendly, though what would you recommend? The same two presets that the previous version of the guide had?
Yeah, I was gonna say lol. "military grade" is usually shorthand for "the shittiest and cheapest possible solution but with a 5000% markup because lol".
I really don't feel like joining a Discord just to ask a question so I followed the Salvo guide and it works...except when I have NVR and H20 Active, the game just refuses to launch, I have added nothing else to it other than an autolooter but even with that off it still crashes before I can even get to the title screen, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong
That I can imagine Unless I forget what I installed a don't think I have either of those three installed For the record I skipped the Oddball and Body, Face and NPC section so I'm not sure if I'm missing something there

Sorry, it's been a long week and "issue" always feels accusatory.
If not, it's in one of the final overwrite inis - Bloomintest, Bloomteriors, Qual, or Whine. Not at my PC to double check which.

Most common thing that causes issues with NVR is Enhanced Camera though, after that NVAC and Heap Replacer.
