Let me know if there are any issues. VATS Distance for ranged weapons is dictated by that weapon's max range and has nothing to do with these settings. I am working on an update to my mod MBI(WAM) which will include weapon max range as a new option. I have finished working on an update to my mod MBI(WAM) which includes weapon max range as a new option. - Thrown melee weapons seem act differently than other weapons when determining VATS range. -- I'm not sure what combination of fVATSMeleeMaxDistance, fVATSMaxEngageDistance, and max range they use. Will conflict with my mod MBI(Movement). It doesn't matter which one loads after the other. It's the same file. If you test an untested setting and learn what it does, please post that information. If you notice a tested setting behaves differently than described, please post that information.
This let's you alter VATS game settings, so if such a game setting exists, then yes. Otherwise, no. I'll try to test it more thoroughly at some point, but anyone can test it themselves as well. To test settings do the following: 1. load a save and use VATS(pay attention to how it works) 2. change settings in the included ini file 3. reload the save so the changes take effect 4. use VATS(pay attention to any differences from the time you used it before loading the save again) 5. repeat from step 1 until you are done testing values I posted the only VATS settings not included in the post below. I'll probably add them soon, but I don't think any of them sound like they would change the slow down speed. You could start with the fVATSPlayerTimeUpdateMult setting as it kinda sounds like that's what it might do. I haven't tested it yet.
These are what's not included: fVATSCamTransRBStrengthCap fVATSDOFStrengthCap fVATSMoveCameraLimbMult fVATSMoveCameraXPercent fVATSSmartCameraCheckHeight fVATSSmartCameraCheckStepDistance Or is there some non VATS setting that controls VATS zoom? If you can tell me what it is I can add it, but please don't make up settings, and make sure I didn't already include it.
