I just want to say thank you to you guys for your kind words and encouragement. I wasn't even sure if anyone was going to care about this stuff when I was first mulling over getting things together and uploading them. If Bethesda ever puts out a 64bit engine update for FNV, then I'm definitely going to pick up where I stopped, and continue with textures that are less prevalent in the game, but no less annoying to look at.

Does the Landscapes version work for TTW?  I just downloaded and tried it out and it looks great and can tell the ground looks a lot better.  The rocks version doesn't seem to have affected anything though.

I'm curious too. Great textures btw! I've been looking for something to replace the creosote bush.

Hey just wanted to say these textures look really freaking good, even when zoomed in, are crystal clear.

Curious is there is any performance issues from this even if I'm on a good PC?

Also, can Nut Vegas work alongside this fine as long as they are just overwriting each other but no conflicts?

recommend letting this texture pack override the Bigger texture packs. NMC > Poco Bueno > Fallout 3 Overhaul > Nut Vegas - Nutscapes, then Don's retextures below those.

especially Critters, Grass, Rubble, and Sidewalks Cracks and Concrete!

i needed to add a LOD texture for it to work with things in the distance. try following this VNV LOD guide: LOD Guide | Viva New Vegas (moddinglinked.com)

I saw this comment in NMC's comment page

You put it below mods you want it to overwrite, and above mods you want to overwrite it.

For example I'm using this mod with the Legacy Reborn Texture Pack, but it's mostly just landscape textures, I want to use Legacy's textures with NMC's to fill in the gaps where Legacy doesn't have textures. So to do that I put NMC above Legacy, Legacy is loaded last, so anything it has overwrites NMC, while NMC's textures load when Legacy doesn't have a texture.

so load Textures Over A Very Long Time under NMC's Textures.

was doubtful this could be a huge improvement over older, more popular mods but wow! i'm impressed! loving the nice roads and GRASS so far, can't wait to meet some cute geckos. thanks Don!

    [edit]
the texture improvements are dope, the scorpions, concrete, streets look great! only con so far is that it takes a Very Long Time to load into the game, and sometimes when exiting interior to exterior. sometimes it loads quick, sometimes long loading times between interior exterior again.

followed Viva New Vegas and then installed these mods.

    4080 Super, 7800X3D, 32gb ram.

anything I can do to fix those load times would be great! it's worth the wait most of the time but some gaming sessions i'm very impatient.

thanks again for your great work!

Try the Sidewalks patch in the optional files section, it should fix the load times issue. I personally haven't seen it happen, so I can't vouch for it definitively, but it seems to work for others that have experienced longer load times.

i decided to just keep it as is because the load times aren't really that bad. looks too good to downgrade!!

hey Don, do you know how this will interact with NMCs_Texture_Pack_For_New_Vegas at Fallout New Vegas - mods and community (nexusmods.com)? should I install some but not all of your files?
