Does not actually require the original mod at all, but I'm gonna tether these two together anyway! Ride those coattails! Wheeeee!

They say, "don't fix what ain't broke." In 2024, the post-Viva New Vegas era, it's easy to see old, once-influential mods showing their age, falling out of favor, or getting gladly kicked to the retirement home. "Gloves Galore," which had its most recent file uploaded not even one year removed from the release date of Fallout: New Vegas itself, is not one of those mods. It's (all vanilla) gloves, they're galore, they're in a briefcase in Doc Mitchell's living room just waiting for the enterprising, surmising, and most of all accessorizing couriers to snag their favorite pairs. This mod works just as well as it did in 2011 as it does today, and as something of a handwear connoisseur in real life, the simplicity of this mod has been hard to beat even after all this time.
That being said, there were two things that I wanted to tweak about it. The first is the names of the gloves themselves, because while in-game, it can be difficult for me to remember what "Colonel Autumn's Gloves" or "Enclave Power Armor Gloves" look like. The second is the Pip-Boy icon for the gloves, which is (strangely) the icon for the G.E.C.K.
Lou's Version of this mod does two things and two things only:
Renames every glove to something more descriptive (this also corrects a "Gloev" typo from the original mod), generally falling into the pattern of "Glove, Color Adjective Material" to keep the whole thing organized.
Replaces the Pip-Boy Icon for every included glove with the one for the Scientist Glove weapon from Old World Blues. If you use any UI mods like Consistent Pip-Boy Icons that replace it, then your replacement should carry over.
And that's it! Now get out there, and love the glove.
And the original mod, by Yoshh, is not a prerequisite, but do feel free to show your appreciation for it there. That mod did all the actually hard work, after all.
