It literally retconned the cause of the bombings. China caused it, not the US. The writers of the show pissed on Tim Cain, disrespecting the Fallout canon.
The show also literally has the same issues as Fallout 3 and 4. The side-plots are more fun and interesting than the main one. (The main plot is also a recycle of Fallout 3 with few alterations even). As for the screen writing, it's your literal every day hollywood action movie.
And you give this a 10/10? Mainstream Fallout fans are extremely easy to satisfy. You got used to the mediocre.
We don't know that for sure. I think Vault Tech planned on launching the nukes themselves if the Peace talks worked, but they didn't work and Chine is the one who sent the nukes. Cause in the first episode we see Coop and his kid at a part when the bombs drop, and Barb wouldn't have allowed the Vault Tech to drop the bombs without making sure her kid was safe, cause her kid's safety and future was the whole reason she wanted the bombs to fall in the first place.

It's difficult enough for me to keep up on all the Fallout Community Culture events and developments. Jokes about the meta of same are too complex for me to do anything but comment something like, "Hey, it's a joke about that recent Fallout Community Culture event".
Appreciate the mod adding some canon content for this fan-made game. I hope devs at Bethesda will release a Creation Club patch for New Vegas and include your mod into a big officially approved package that fixes all the inconsistencies and awkward fanfiction from the initial release.
