A couple of questions. Does this need a new game? If not, what if I already blew up Megaton? Does she have a karma requirement? I've already finished The Wasteland Survival guide quest. Nonetheless, a great idea and downloaded.
It does not need a new game. I already completed the quest when I created the mod. No karma requirements. Blowing up megaton, I am not sure as I mainly focused on the cases where the NPC is not a ghoul. If the Ghoul NPC is the same as the normal one, I do not see a reason why not.
I did some testing. This is all after completing The Wasteland Survival Guided. I went through the newest save I have with Megaton already blown up and after telling Moira that she can live in the Underworld. I searched there afterwards and could not find her. I also looked around Rivet City because she had mentioned that too after becoming a ghoul and could not find her.
I loaded a save before blowing up Megaton, and blew it up with her still in it. She did not appear in front of the Megaton Ruins. I loaded that save again and had her follow me. I blew up Megaton, and she was still my follower and still human. I dismissed her and waited twenty four hours. She was not at the Megaton Ruins.
As this shows, if you want her as a follower, don't blow up Megaton. No matter, when I begin another playthrough, I'll disarm the bomb and have Moira with me when I shoot Burke and Tenpenny in the head.
it was pretty shocking at first realizing poor ian would have to deal with the hunger alone, but then i ate lucy and decided that was a fair trade.
saw moira's head get blown off not too long ago, but luckily for her i also died right after. i like immersion, so if i cant keep them safe despite putting them at risk then i dont deserve to have these friends. and if i dont care after they die then i guess i didnt like em that much in the first place...
Awesome, I don't know if you are interested in conversion, but I tried and failed to convert the Fallout 3 Moria Brown Craterside Enterprises mod a few years ago. I got permission from the mod creator to port it over to TTW, but I would love to see someone more competent take a crack at it.
hey sorry im thread jacking ive tried to port Moria Brown Craterside Enterprises i got a lot of it working there was still faults with it however if I ever get anywhere with it ill upload it, This mod by Skilpadjie is great though so good work man
Before recruiting her, she behaves erratically in her shop, starting to run one way or the other and pausing as if undecided. I had a similar problem with Lucy West and I only enable it when I am ready to recruit her. Maybe there is a conflict with the vanilla AI packages or something.
Hi I have released an update. I struggled to replicate the issue but I have made some changes to the home AI Package and the vanilla ones which seem to be working well together.
I had to originally deactivate Lucy's Megaton wander package following the recruitment as finding her was always a pain. So I set it to dismiss her to her home. I could increase her radius so she wanders around her home perhaps or just restore the megaton wander package and remove the new Home package?
Downloaded just after you published this mod and can confirm Moira is working as expected .....so far. :) Thanks for making and sharing your TTW companions. Looking forward to what you make next. Endorsed.
Oh wow! I'll keep an eye out for Sarah Lyons then. I've only just installed TTW so it's great to see someone making new companion mods for it. Do you have any future plans to make Uncle Leo or Crimson (from Paradise Falls) at all?

I'll add a disclaimer to the description that this mod does not work if you decide to blow up Megaton.

I mainly want to focus on standalone companions.
I have a Sarah Lyons companion that is essentially done. Just ironing out the kinks and stuff.
