I always like the concept that TTW provides, as in offering the possibility of the courier and wanderer being the same person. Leaving the Wasteland possibly due to painful memories and attempting a somewhat new life doing the things he might have loved doing most....wandering, traveling, adventuring, or simply walking. Therefore it does make sense that he might have had a base of a sort in the Mojave where he left his things, using more suitable equipment for a fast dash across the lands where the Sun shines a bit fiercer.
I hope you develop this mod further possibly adding a location that is not a bunker, I don't like bunkers.
you can use benny humbles you instead it has a different implementation but locks you to having to continue the story to get your gear back unlike this mod it seems
Yeah the bunker is in a pretty good location as far as the intention of believability, and making it a bit more difficult to reach ones gear. It also makes sense as to why the Wanderer/Courier would use this place at least as a temporary base.
The only gripes I have are pretty much taste wise on my part. And I do think that the entrance might need to be a little better hidden like instead of this giant metal door in the middle of nowhere, maybe a an inconspicuousness hole in the ground, a hidden door, a shaft or something.
Otherwise it does exactly what it's supposed to, and with better believability too. Because honestly, could Benny and a couple of Khans really ambush a highly skilled Wanderer with equipment that makes Capital Wasteland mutants into Swiss Cheese? You know unless said Wanderer really was trying to do his job and traveling light as a result and wasn't trying to get into a gunfight needlessly.
