This is beautiful work, ZZJay. I really like your Skyrim stuff, too. I have a question, however. I want to use the Type 4 female body and I'm wondering if there would be a mismatch in the body texture vs the face texture of this mod. I haven't played or modded this game in years and I've forgotten a lot so I'm unsure how to approach this issue. If there is a mismatch do you have any advice?
Please do a Marie Rose / Juliet Starling race I love them both and they always seem to get mods that just never work or are broken and abandoned Please save them from this fate!
Cause I can hardly make a custom weapon let alone recreate / import custom assets Ihave only ever used the geck to remove Cringe and stupid edits from mods.
Plus with your logic I should start a farm to make my own food build a well to get my own water and build my own house etc, instead of asking the people already skilled at such things if they would be willing to do it. your comment is just to try and start an argument there is no need to be toxic because I made a request to a user thats not even you.
You have a better chance of seeing your request becoming reality if you learn to make it yourself. Making a custom race is a big undertaking and asking someone to do it for you for free comes across as a bit entitled or at least tonedeaf. We all learnt how to mod, so making the excuse that you aren't skilled enough doesn't fly. If you want something then you should do it yourself, that's how all modders started.
Besides time, there is another issue to consider is copyright. Not many games allow for asset usage for mods in other games, CDPR for witcher games however doesn't mind, so thats why these mods get made and posted, while others are not.

BeGoneCringe just asked a simple question. No need to pounce. It would be just as easy to say that these projects are difficult and time-consuming and the only way to get what you want is to learn to do it yourself. No need to be unkind. Not everyone knows the effort it takes to make mods.
How much different is it doing armors / creatures to human races. i know there are two skeletons for 1st/3rd person and all off the face bones and bs. its considerably more difficult/different?
there is no facebones in FNV. There's tri files. and thats the main difference. you can use aid tools like conformulator, or shape each emote manually, and the only way to really learn this part is watch existing mods, and ow they are made. Blender can import and export tri files, and conformulator is pretty straightforward tool to use.
It is as difficult as much as you want to be precise. When i do my skyrim races, i kinda do all emotes and phonemes manually, and it takes a lot of time. Bale prefers using conformulator, andthen fixing the wrong emotes only, whihc are usualy the blinks. Also if you use this method you should open the mouth before creating the trui file, so that the shape of your tri export mesh is similar to the mesh you'll be copying from.
Thats vanilla body, and head is tailored to type4, so im not really using the right stuff int he pics.
Vanilla body is better off with CKR patch, or by using my retexture of vanilla body included in my texture workshop, as it''ll uniform the colors. there's too many texture options in this game to match them all.
I'm about screenshots. Interesting, doesn't look like vanilla body at all (i probably forgot how it looks since i haven't playded unmodded game for a... while). And underwear?
