Got to say I love this mod. And I found it really cool that you explained how to replace the headshot sfx. When I was modding a different game(GTA 4) I found a hit-marker mod that adds headshot sfx along with the hit marker, but it also allows you to load as many wav files into a folder and when you get a headshot it randomizes the sound based on the ways in that folder, within the game file. I actually went and created 6 professional arcade style headshot sfx because I'm very interested in sound engineering. It might be crazy specific but could a feature like that be implemented or compatible with this mod ?
Sure, that would actually be very easy to implement. I'll consider adding it in the next update.
Edit: Alternatively, you can also do it yourself if you know how to use FNVEdit. It's really simple. All you gotta do is open SAS.esp in FNVEdit, go to the "Sound" section on the left and find the sound named "SASHeadshot". Click on it, find the line "FNAM - Sound FileName" and change it from "fx\sas\sas_headshot.wav" to "fx\sas\headshot\". Then you just create a folder named "headshot" in "sound\fx\sas\" and throw whatever sounds you want in that folder. Now everytime my script calls for the headshot sound, it'll randomly play one of the .wav files in the "headshot" folder.

These sounds are on a timer and play repeatedly. If you feel like they play too often, you can change the interval in the config file (data/config/SAS_config.ini).
ah I see, I misunderstood how the sounds work. apologies. to better phrase my issue, my needs don't need to reach whatever threshold is in the ini for the sounds to play. they play as soon as I have any amount
That is strange. I have removed that mod completely and and I have no other sound mod, yet I hear the female sounds of this mod everytime my male charcter drinks.
Would be possible to add a sound effect to when the player is hit by a fire gun? something like the headshot sfx you added, would be a great help for feedback and now if u are getting shooted during a big gunfight
Love the inclusion of the crazy scream when the player consume psycho but i think u missed add it to when also consumes slasher than is basically a even stronger psycho haha
