This has the potential to be my favorite mod especially with the ideas you plan on implementing. maybe a cool idea would be cool to annex the boomers and take over vault 3 from the fiends. i always thought you could conceivably convince the remnants and the khans to align with the brotherhood too under the right conditions. maybe you could create those conditions if you implemented a pathway to becoming the elder of the BOS (via litany in the codex?). this could even expand the Yes Man/ Independent new vegas storyline. I may be getting ahead of myself but you got my imagination going.
thank you for the ideas, i do plan on implementing most of them and i have thought about making the player elder, if i can make it work without feeling cheap i will definitely make it an option. sadly the project is on indefinite hold due to my current work situation and lack of motivation.
the speech check to convince house will be a little complicated and difficult. im thinking about a combination of high speech checks, brotherhood reputation checks, strip reputation checks, and the player having to say the right dialogue options to convince house.
Plan on doing other quests like maybe helping them retake helios one? Ik it's kind of impossible for them to do so with their numbers, maybe lock it behind an 80 speech check for McNamara like with a dialogue chain that starts with a question: "With the lockdown ended, and the Brotherhood is repopulating the other bunkers again, do you have any further plans of expansion?", then it could just develop to the speech check, or if hardin is elder he wouldn't need the speech check.
Thank you for taking interest in my mod! That is planned in the future with the brotherhood calling for reinforcements from nearby chapters. depending on the elder and state on the brotherhoods diplomacy with other factions will change how the quest begins. sadly the mod is currently indefinitely delayed as i have needed to focus on work, although i do plan on returning when i can justify spending time modding instead of working.
I'll be keeping an eye on this. Always did feel the Brotherhood of Steel was severely underused in New Vegas. Not using it just yet because it's currently named as being in early Alpha, but if it gets to at least Beta, I'll use it.

I gotta say though, I would also love to see maybe a smaller scale version that just has logical improvement's their their own bunker's entrance/interior and perhaps have them establish new smaller bunkers like their dead money bunker and safehouse bunker across the wasteland. Maybe with added patrols and such once the lockdown is lifted. ( If you are willing to take suggestions that is, I don't want to sound like I'm unappreciative or demanding, just shooting out a couple ideas. )
I always appreciate suggestions! i do plan on them making minor outposts across the wasteland once they get reinforcements and they will retake the dead money BoS bunker when they take the madre. they will also take over locations that make sense like the Repconn Museum and test site. if you have anything specific you would like to be added to the main hidden valley bunker in future updates please let me know and if i like it, or if many others would like to see it, i will do my best to add it. currently the only change to the bunkers is the addition of more sets of power armor to the armory.
I'd love to see a new npc in the bunker that you can turn in energy weapons to, maybe for similar rewards to the outcasts in fallout 3 or perhaps giving some other type of reward. It would give the bunker a reason to keep returning throughout the playthrough other than just to visit. Also, an armory to store said weapons would be neat as well, maybe a new cell in the locked door behind Knight Torres' shop setup? Could also add in a scribe in the repair bay to turn in scrap items to, gotta keep that equipment down there running somehow.
I do have plans to have a quest like the outcast collection agent with the option to get rewards. i was planning on just having everything turned in to Knight Torres at the armory but i do also like the idea of turning in miscellaneous electronics to one of the scribes/knights. in the next update you will be able to turn in power armor and common energy weapons to torres but in the future it will be every piece of advanced tech in the game, including unique items and weapon mods. i may also have a script that adds the items you turn in to the leveled lists to make it seem like the brotherhood is actually using and even replicating the tech you turn in. i was also planning on expanding the armory and making a cell with the locked door behind torres but im not yet sure what the design will be yet. A scribe dedicated to the research and preservation of the crazy stuff in the Big MT would be cool to see also, perhaps letting them study your teleporter and eventually even having an expeditionary force sent there to explore and recover stuff
Thank you for your suggestion. i do have plans for the brotherhood to go to big mountain, as well as the Sierra Madre and Divide, for the technology. i didnt have much planned out for how they would get to big mountain though so thank you for the idea of giving them the Transportalponder!
