It reduces save bloat because it gets rid of objects in the environment, movables such as bottles save position and other data in the save file so them being erased upon destruction helps with that (slightly). performance is increased because there is no longer triangles and other visual data from said objects rendering, also the havok physics of the objects will no longer be adding stress onto the scene since it won't need to simulate as many objects flying around in combat.
Additionally some of this stuff is I have tested and wrote about on the GECK wiki over the years. And furthermore what I say could be backed up by some of the greatest minds we have in the NV modding community.
I have endless respect and gratitude for the mod creators who reinforced my dream of a "post-apocalyptic cyber & nukepunk sukiyaki western" even though I didn't ask for it. thank you
