About this mod

Many games use naming conventions to quickly inform the player of an enemy's abilities and rank. This mod attempts that by simply renaming the Capital Wasteland's Raiders, Regulators and Talon Company Mercs.

Overview:
Most enemies already come in different varieties (except Regulators, they're boring) and are grouped in templates that carry either Small Guns, Melee, Rifles, Snipers or Special (like flamers, explosives, the big stuff). Or just Guns, if they're a Regulator. Because they really like LARPing as cowboys.

This mod simply renames NPCs from random spawns. No edits to their equipment, level or anything (except for Tier 4 Regulators, see Limitations). Now, when you run across a psychopath with a different title you'll (hopefully/eventually) know exactly what they do without having to mouse over their weapons in VATS. 

RAIDERS
These psychos have a specific name according to their tier and combat style, e.g. Thug (Tier 1) Brawler (Melee).

Had to cut "Merc" from their edgy names. I considered naming them "Talon Merc" but removing "Company" just felt wrong since they shout it all the time.

Tale Of Two Wastelands.

Installation:
Simply install using the mod manager of your choice or manually place the .esp in your Data Folder.

Limitations: 
This is my first mod and it was done manually. I've no clue (hence my name, ha!) nor time to learn to make this esp-less or into a config ini file for easier customization. If it's possible feel free to do it!

This edits only apply to the aforementioned NPCs in the Capital Wasteland or anything that makes use of the same records. For example, the Talon Mercs in A World Of Pain FO3 will get their new edgy names. 

About the Regulator Sheriff: TTW adds a Tier 4 for Broken Steel but, while they have a specific equipment template, their ActorBase is tied to the Regulator Tier 1. If I wanted to rename Tier 4, it'd have to be Tier 1 too. Thus, I made a template just to rename them. No further edits (stats, equipment, etc) so it should be fine.

Compatibility: 
Anything that edits the same NPCs from Tale Of Two Wastelands (like Two Wastelands Redesigned, for which there is a patch!) is troublesome. Load it after TWR. I'm not planning on making any patches beyond that. Perms are open, though.
The recommended mods below are compatible.

Recommendations: 
For new content and (actual) variety go for Enclave NPC OverhaulRaiders of the Capital Wastelands and TTW Armored Wasteland. They're crazy good mods which you should definitely be using.
