About this mod

A mod that modifies the interior of the Follower's Outpost to better align with the exterior model. Re-works the interior, reduces the number of Doctors inside to two & improves the overall atmosphere. Guards are moved to the exterior of the building and all interactions with Veronica's questline are intact/improved upon.

It's fairly common knowledge that some of the building exterior models in New Vegas don't quite align with their interiors.




In most cases, I can usually suspend disbelief - but the Follower's Outpost has always been particularly bad - seemingly tripling in size upon entry and containing a small army of Followers.

The tileset used also makes little sense, transforming into a metal shack upon entry - in direct opposition to its wooden exterior.

In this mod, I've entirely reworked the interior to be smaller, fit better with the exterior, reduced the number of Followers present and made it a much more interesting location to visit.

I've also added some set-dressing to the exterior of the building - which should make it a bit more distinct and identify it as a faction outpost, rather than a random building.

† Guards have been moved to the exterior of the building 



All encounters relating to Veronica's questline in this area should work as usual. I've also improved the area's atmosphere after the conclusion of her quest.

Install and Uninstall using a mod manager of your choice, alternatively, add or remove the .esp file from the data folder as required. Load after The Great Mojave Interior Overhaul (TGMIO) if used together.



† During Veronica's quest, if the player wait
s directly outside the outpost when waiting for the doctor to return - the guards won't immediately be switched with their deceased counterparts when the brotherhood attacks. They will however be switched when the player next exits the building or either fast travels to the area / walks up to it.
