Does this work with enhanced movement/is there any chance of a patch if not? Would love to have all the features it includes like prone and leaning with the ability to slide too.
I don't use enhanced movement. But I may have a look, no one is answering my kNVSE questions, so not sure how to make 2 mods interact. I would need to somehow jump into the priority list of actions enhanced movement does. Like you press control, and you slide, but if you keep holding, what happens, do we keep sliding, or do we lay down? How would I enable/disable these actions when these are 2 separate mods?
I am not sure, as a complete layman, but enhanced movement has an optional mode that splits the crouch and prone key from each other. I can try using the mods together with that option enabled and bind prone to a different key, then see if she go
A couple of tests later, it seems like they sort of work together - the default power values send you flying crazy far, but it seems like somewhere around 13.5 works to my liking. The enhanced movement mod seems to take priority over the slide mod, as if I'm holding shift and hit my slide button the slide does not come out. When not holding shift, the slide seems to come out fine and the animations play as they should. I would love an integration like JAM sprint has, but this works well enough for sure!
tldr: In the MCM settings for enhanced movement under the prone section there is a toggle called "Use sneak key" - as long as that is off and the prone key is set to a different key from your slide/sneak key, the mods appear to work together, although you need to stop sprinting before sliding.

Nope im using a keyboard Crouch is ctrl I don't have hold crouch to crouch on Stewie Tweaks Ive also been messing with the mod load order and nothing yet so far
just on this issue— im experiencing the same thing. tried running the load order with nothing but this, jam, and requirements and issue is still present. Maybe an xnvse issue? i will try reinstalling or trying without jam. great looking and playing mod, ive been waiting for years for someone to implement something like this so i’m eager to get it working
I'm not going to install every mod on nexus to check compatibility. I tested on Viva New Vegas set up. If you discover which mod conflicting with this. I can have a look
Other than the listed ones, are there any known mods that aren't compatible with this or cause issues? Whenever I try to use this mod, I fly to the moon. It could possibly be that my mod list and load order are an abomination to humanity...
It somewhat works, ill upload it later today, but since JAM is essentially abandonware at this stage (it will be eventually rewritten as an xNVSE Plugin), I will not fix any bugs with it.
There is also Enhanced Movement Mod, I believe it also has sprinting (I don't use either of those mods). I will be more inclined to support Enhanced Movement since its still being actively maintained
Well, when I try to slide, everything works as it should, except the sliding itself. The animation works nicely, but for some reason I'm sliding in place. I have Enhanced Movement and installed the patch. What gives?
Can try posting your mod list, chances I don't use 99% of them. Or disable 10 mods at a time to see if it starts working, then you can confirm which mod it conflicts with
This with Titans of the New West, with you sliding and chuncks of metal and dismembering enemies would be nutty! Amazing mod, can't wait to see what the modding community will do with it!

Apparently it works nicely in 3rd person though, I hadn't noticed previously. I only slide in place in first person.
