The same way you have very found memories of using this weapon, I have of using it in FO3, thanks to Fallout Wanderes edition. They implemented it as a replacer for the unqiue A32-1 plasma rifle and it functioned and looked identical to this (the textures were just lower quality and maybe the model was bit more blocky). Same as it did for you, it quickly became one of my favorite weapons and my go-to weapon when doing Energy Weapons playthroughs.
Would you be willing to release an optional TTW version, that moves it from its NV location and makes it a replacer for the A32-1, just like it was in FO3? That would be beyond awesome!
Thank you very much for the kind words and I believe that I still have a TTW install on my computer, I would be happy to look into it. Can't make any promises on the timing as I am busy the rest of the week-end, but I'll have a look on Monday :)
Hey, I'm happy to tell you that I have released an optional file for TTW users! This will place the weapon similarly to the Wanderers edition as you requested but I made an alteration to it because I didn't want to remove a unique weapon from the game. I hope you enjoy it :)
You're an absolute legend for this one, the only reason I still have PN installed is for this rifle and the Rebalance Module haha, thank you so much for this. :D
Check out Charmareian's comment for some more stuff, but hey it's not too difficult to learn how to do the ports for youself if you want to use them in your game. If I could do it, I'm sure you can as well :)
Haven't thought of Project Nevada in a long time. A shame nobody ever did a modern upgrade to it, but that would be a huge undertaking. The weapons I remember the most were the Plasma Repeater and the Homemade weapons.
If you dig a bit, you'll find that pretty much every PN feature has been remade in modern ways. Check out Eddoursul's mods (be sure to see page 2) and the Mods to Avoid page in VNV that also lists a lot of alternatives. I'm not planning to port any other weapons at this time though. Be sure to check Zealotlee's amazing ZL Armaments, she was a member of the PN team and her mod features some weapons that are remastered from PN and amazing new ones as well. Hope you can find something you like :)
