if you want to make presets for the community, I think you should look at the "New Vegas Reloaded" mod which you can find on the TES Reloaded discord. Nobody uses ENB any more, New Vegas Reloaded does everything in a better way.
You should join the TES Reloaded Discord server and download the newest Nightly build of New Vegas Reloaded it should give much better performance. with superior effects even real shadows.
What is the logic behind calling just another ENB preset a "Ray tracing Simulation"? Firstly, ray tracing itself is a simulation. Simulating a simulation doesn't make any sense at all.
Second, it's ENB - ENB for NV is unfinished and requires that you disable most of the games default image quality settings. ReShade was just updated with the ability to read MSAA depth buffers - you could have released a ReShade preset with actual screenspace ray tracing.
Third, as has been said, NVR exists, and has graphical features well beyond ENB, without sacrificing MSAA, water displacement, etc. And it lets you use dxvk for an often significant performance boost.
This doesn't make much sense. It does look like you're passionate about improving visuals - why not do it with modern tools?
I agree that ENB is broken and unfinished, but this mod is actually a Reshade preset, and The Reshade works perfectly fine, without all the bugs that ENB has. That being said this preset isn't really this nice, there are a few good ones but most of them are overly bright.
Plus, you have things like New Vegas: Reloaded, which adds more legit shadows and isn't as performance intensive as Reshade if you configure it right.
If you have NVR configured just right with only shadows and proper coloring, you eliminate the need for Reshade unless you want to change the sky or soften some things.
Enb for FNV is not finished, you can see from the effects, everything that is there is AO and that’s all essentially, well, you can still customize the sky as much as possible, I work mainly with ENB and Reshade and for now. About improving textures, I’m not very good and I’m just learning using the program 3dsmax. If you know better software to improve the visuals of the game, then I ask you to share your experience.
This particular enb is not finished, but it’s worth looking at my other mods ENB + Reshade and everything is better there, for example, in GTA V, enb makes this game very beautiful.
I think this mod permanently fucked my game up some how (I'm still not quite sure how but I would be more than happy enough to explain the crazy visual bugs).
It's because you installed ENB. ENB is well known to be completely defunct for Fallout New Vegas. Its entirely abandoned. There are better alternatives.

Go use New Vegas Reloaded instead, unlike ENB, it is currently updated and looks a lot better.
thank you
