I think in the pictures I was using a basic leather armor replacer, but I don't believe that you should need anything beyond the vanilla game and GOTY DLCs to run this mod.
Scorpion Gang doesn't get as much love as the more recent Jackal and Viper overhaul mods so seeing this is really sweet.
Would love to see more added to this mod as it seems to be the only other mod in the Nexus that touches these guys. (excluding Mojave Raiders which gave these thugs some dirty pre-war business outfits and Raider Rapport which gave the Scorpions their own faction reputation icon)
As garbledarbles said, seems Obsidian did have more in store for the gang but couldn't get around to it with the time constraint. Wiki atleast states this,
"At some point in development, Yvette, the gang leader, would have been the source of an optional, unmarked quest to aid the gang in obtaining "a steady supply of ammunition from the NCR Quartermaster at Camp McCarren." This quest was never fully implemented, but some resources related to it remain, in particular, a note titled, "Ammunition for the Scorpions."
I believe there connected to the quest “The White Wash” when you confront Anderson instead of turning him in or killing him for a NCR corporal you can wipe out the nearby Scorpions and pin the murder onto them. I quite like this mod because it adds several more shades of grey onto this quest sure Westside still gets its water and remains self sufficient but at the cost of several murders and potentially costs the jobs of NCR farmers. Killing the Scorpions who at this point have done nothing wrong only to be wrongly murdered for a death they weren’t responsible for ooh I love the idea will definitely download this mod when I get the chance.
Thanks for your input. I always thought they were an inconsequential group who were created but then overlooked in the production of the game. I must have never pursued this quest line. let me know if you spot any Inconsistencies in my mod. I only put about a days worth of effort into this, but it's an idea i've had for some time.

Well, since my mod is on the burner for a year now, it can afford to stay there a little while longer.
