If your animations for this mod are not working, Try uncheck marking each and every one of your animation mods until you find which one is causing the issue. In my case it was ETJ Animations All Cowboy Repeaters (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/77972 ) and if you have this mod you may be experiencing the same issue.
Here is the Fix Make sure you copy and paste this over the existing code within the .json file. locate it in the /meshes/AnimGroupOverride/ in the mod folder.
This isn't a normal situation. The mod author left the "Mod" index as FalloutNV.esm, bypassing the valid check, then kept forms and folder as null indexes forcing a vanilla animation overwrite. I'd be surprised if more kNVSE animations had the same typos. You don't need to tell people to look through every one of their kNVSE animation. Just disable ETJ Animations All Cowboy Repeaters until Eli fixes it.
99s0yls, you could of probably saved yourself the headache by loading up the game with only hitman's animations, would of been obvious that this was not a bug with our mod(s). Nevertheless, I'm glad you and tiger were able to figure it out.
Gun disappears from JAM weapon wheel for some reason while using this mod for me, don't have an issue with any other WAP/WWP weapons. Any ideas how I could fix?
Anybody had an issue when you reload your savegame through Load menu, the gun disappears? I had this issue with Riot Shotgun, 9mm, RD704 and .44 Magnum. After i restart the game, the gun returned to my inventory and usable again. The issue still happens after i reload my savegame. The WAP Year One doesn't disappear tho.
Apparently, I need to save the game while holding the Riot Shotgun to make it not disappear if I reload the savegame. If I save the game while holding another weapon, the gun disappears. It also disappeared when I gave the Riot Shotgun to my companion. But other gun mods (except for RD704 and other separate WAP mods) is not affected with this odd bug at all. Only that the Riot Shotgun that i have before still has this bug. I think maybe it's because the Shotgun came from one of the White Legs NPC. Another odd thing is when i bought a new Riot Shotgun and put the mods through NVWO workbench, the accessories like Steiner DBAL and other "RailLeft/RailRight/RailBottom" was misaligned.
Is the same as vanilla, excluding the vanilla menu that I never implemented. If you wanted to compress the weapon to 3 mods, you can do it pretty easily in the config. Just delete all the other attachments.
I'll do it, I would even release the modified config as a mod with Anox's permission if he wants, can you tell me what I need to delete? I've played this game for years, but I'm an absolute newbie when it comes to modding.
You don't need permissions to create a config file fork, as long as it doesn't include any of the assets. If you need any help with the config files, you can check the Wiki Or if you have any questions, you can ask on the NVWO Discord
Please do I would really like this as a standalone/ ish vanilla replacer without the neeed for the weaponsmith thingy just because I am playing TTW and idk if Weaponsmith might work with TTW?
Have you tried only installing the base edition of the riot shotgun? tbh, I haven't personally tested this mod with the addon, or the "Ultimate Addition" as it's called.
I've played up until vegas with the base edition installed, and I really haven't had any issues, running the Steam version with mostly vanilla playthrough on 7th gen intel cpu. All hit animations installed.
That didn't work either. So later I'll do a fresh game reinstall to see if that ends up working and I'll report back within a week or so. And Hitman's riot shotgun knvse set is my only knvse set for the riot shotgun since I already sent my log to Anonx through discord.
Also I did download the newest update for this mod so now the middle part of the riot shotgun is visible which is the receiver and drum mag while the entire barrel and shotgun grip is invisible. I probably did install something wrong there so let me know if I did and how I can correct my mistake.
Not to say you guys are wrong or anything, but I also can't get Hitman season 3 animations to work. I've tried everything you guys suggested and it still does not work.
The working version of v24 is private. You'll have to wait for them to release either a beta in xNVSE discord, or to nexus.
They do have an older v24 beta from a few months ago, but don't use this. It might break Weapon Smith, because it satisfies the v24 version check, but lacks any of the features WS requires.

Just the Optic Sight, Stock and Silencer alone would be amazing, honestly.

Edit: Not the public kNVSE v24 beta from a few months ago. -This one will not work, as it's too old.
We have to wait till they release it publicly.
also make sure all the required mods for Weaponsmith are up to date (jip, showoff, etc.)
Disclaimer: Do not use kNVSE 24 beta that was posted 4/27/2023 in xNVSE. It's much older than the version 24 that WS is built on.
