I love the new idles, but it's intentional for him to use Manny's room since they're dating shown by them both having confirmed bachelor dialogue and other hints.
Chris doesn't have confirmed bachelor dialogue, only black widow. I just double-checked in the GECK too 'cause I've seen this around before, but it's not true. Moving in with Manny is totally true though and I kinda ship them too!

Even if some mod do that, I don't see why having 2 homosexual characters in the same town automatically means that they are dating each other. Maybe they don't care about each other. Plus the Bruce Isaac room is very 'repair' themed already and fits great for Chris skills. In my opinion. But feel free to edit the mod and change the Chris room for Manny's one if it's better for you.
find the ai package i created with "sleep" in its name. It is set to target the motel room cell (and not a specific marker). Change it for the Manny Vargas room cell (don't know its ID, sorry). Done.
