the DOF works only when i ADS and then go close to something,, but shouldnt it work even without being ADS and extremly close i saw someone even had DOF when talking to a NPC
so i'm having trouble. i'm using Fallout Mod Manager. Extracted file into my fallout mods folder Create from folder from the mods folder activated mod archived on and off and its not working? pretty sure the script extender mods that are required i already have installed from previous mods. *edit* yup i do. is there something i missed?
they did ask me i have copies with same names tho not sure if i messed up there or not. but all my other mods still work. or idk. maybe someone can hmu and help me out with a disc link if they know how to use Fallout mod manager with this
yes, mo2 dosent really store anything in the games directory so it minimizes the potential of you breaking something and having to start over, can also use mo2s features to delete individual files from specific mods if you wanted to.
Could I use a modified version of this script in a DoF mod I'm working on? Your code accomplishes some of what I want to implement (smooth DoF transition) and I can't see myself finding a more efficient way to add it.
For some reason does not apply depth of field immediately upon reload- it's like there's some kind of delay. I'm using a lot of KNVSE animation mods as well.
I always love little visual "tweaks" like this. Been using DoF mods that accomplishes similar, but will definitely be switching to this as I think the strength of the blur here is the most balanced I've seen (maybe its just me). Plus, no ESP, and a clever usage of unused assets is always a bonus. Well done, and thank you!
I do have a suggestion and a request, if I may:
For the Reload DoF effect, I would suggest that the "Reticle Range" be ignored and instead a fixed lower value (or something else) for distance be used. Its a bit weird to be "focused" on an object far away when performing a reload, instead of focusing on the weapon.
Now to be greedy: Any chance for the DoF effect to happen on B42 Inspect too? :D
