Do you plan to make an individual icon for the Merc Grunt Outfit? In Vanilla it uses the same icon for the Wasteland Doctor Fatigues & Surgeon outfit. "has a bag and strap."
I made an attempt of doing it myself with photoshop. Mix and matching icons from your v5 mods, but I know you'd do it 100x better than I ever could xD There's probably a lot of quality loss on mine.
Also. Fantastic work on the CPI mods. I admire your work and wish i had as much skill as you do. Making these quality images.
It is already on my to-do list! I have a lot of Vanilla Apparel icons I want to make, and I am sure there are many more clothing that I am unaware of that desperately needs its own custom icon too, like the Slave Rags - which I recently did (Comparison was uploaded in the image section of this mod). I am estimating around 20-30 apparel icons are just waiting to be drawn :)
I'm also working on dynamic apparel icons too, which essentially means the icons will change depending on what you wear. The goal of having dynamic icons is to "boost roleplaying", and reward people to use full sets of outfits. Dynamic Apparel Icons will also occasionally reference certain characters in the game, Fallout in general, or pop-culture. I started working on it while making the Apparel mod.
There is also other projects I'm working on which haven't been announced yet :)
It's incredible that you plan to cover so much. I hope the process of creating them goes as smoothly as possible for you (even though I know how tedious and challenging it's gonna be. ;p)
The Dynamic Apperal Icons sounds absolutely game changing too, I'm super looking forward to seeing it.

You need the Framework plugin for these to show up in game.
