Hello, Jesus. How's your day going? I hope it's going well.
I'm trying to set different perk icons for males and females, but I can't seem to get it to work. I've read the readme, maybe I'm just misunderstanding it. This is my test setup:
It's an icon from JHC's modder resource, from one of the previous CPI versions, renamed and put in a completely different place. Why put it there? I don't quite know, I just did.
Anyway, does that code look right? On my female Courier it still shows the first icon, not the second.
And it's a different icon? The lines look right, but if they're the same icon they will show no difference. Alternatively, and this may be a kinda technical problem, when you open the pipboy perk list, it shows the last perk you had hovered over, or the first one in the list. Until you hover over it again, it won't update its icon with the female or ranked alternatives, if it has any.
Thank you for telling us in the description on how to update your mod. So many mods do not do this (and yes, I know the general rule of thumb is to usually "replace" but not always!)
This seems like a good mod but the many files with zero explanation or "consistency" in even naming them makes me confused. I downloaded them all, installed them in order because it seems like a logic step but the icons show up messed up. I have the requirements (JonnhyGuitar, JIP etc.) but it doesnt work because even this mod tells me to not use another version of the same author. Why so many pages? Why not one page correctly explaining it all with the different packs in the same place?
I can't replicate this problem, though it sounds like a legit issue.
Seeing the plugin list, one thing which strikes me as odd is the johnnyGuitar plugin at version 5.0, I only know of it being at version 4.96? Dunno if it could be related to the problem, but if you can point me to where to get such a version, I might try to test if there's something up with it.
The Mod Organizer meta file says this exactly "newestVersion=4.96.0.0b" No idea why the widget decided to round it up, but I'm running the most recent Johnny Guitar from June 17th on Nexus Mods.
Is this compatible with vuie vanilla user interface extended? I noticed that i need ti load it after vault paper doll or it would give me a pipboy error
Getting something similar to this, using MO2--it wants the CPI icons.esp removed (which is already gone, even loading my most recent save it mentions that it isn't present) and two script files from data/nvse/plugins/scripts: gr_CPIranks.txt and gr_CPIIcons.txt, which also are already gone as near as I can tell. They aren't in the actual folder or in MO2's override folder.

Do I want to use the 4.4 or 4.5 version? Thanks!
But if you are going to use it, I'd advice to use the latest.

$LordDeathChallengePerk$interface\icons\pipboyimages\perks\itsmejesushchrist\challenge_lord_death.dds0
$LordDeathChallengePerk$interface\icons\pipboyimages\FNVIcons\challenge\challenge_lord_death.dds1
I've checked all the dependencies, and everything appears fully updated. I've no idea why this isn't working.

Every time I go to the console and hover over any icon in the menu or Pipboy, this error prints to it.
I checked to ensure the prerequisites were up to date, but just in case, here are the versions I'm currently running.
I honestly have no idea what could cause this, so it may be a conflict with some other mod, but I can't imagine which one.
